I read Anupama's book on 'Sholay' and it was just incredible. It gave such great insights into the making of the greatest Indian film ever, that my love for my favorite film grew even more. She is amazing.. her knowledge and passion for cinema is unparalleled, and she is one of the last few authentic critics left in the film criticism/analysis space. Yes, she is a part of the "Bollywood" ecosystem and I do disagree with her numerous times, but still respect her the most when it comes to her work and her personality.

I remember her interviews with the Kai Po Chhe team, and especially the Kangana Ranaut interview that blew up and made her cool because she spoke her mind and sounded like a free-thinking independent person, before Queen. Anupama Chopra had reasonable interviews that were not just star-flattering superficial PR chats, without the catty tension of Rajeev Masand and she was the first person who had very humane discussions with actors as an equal, asking them to speak their mind and thoughts more
Love her principles and work ethic. She conducts herself with so much grace and depth. Surely, many times I disagreed with her reviews, but when the intent behind the work is pure, it doesn't matter even we differ. This is an insightful interview, thank you Jammy!

Listening to Anupama Chopra is just bliss. I, however, wish there was an efficient interviewer. Most questions seemed like trying to tick off the box and not entirely organic.
