Three days back I saw half of t his conversation, later come across with her directorial piece, A death at Gunj, such a nice work, characters, ambiance, costumes everything was so beautifully. Woven in a depiction, it's a warm afternoon watch. Subtle in it's every stitch.
I loved the interview! As we know, changing or influencing people to start viewing via gender lens is such a challenging task, in Konkonas words this has to be introduced in schools to see the new generations being sensitive. I thought the conversation to be lengthy though. Highly respectful, hugely problematic! What a way to express challenging folks.... Konkona, you're brilliant.
konkana is very level-headed, I totally understand and get her thought process. I feel Sucharita does not let the interview 'flow' but kinda directs it - gender questioning was over-done, Konkana gave her piece and that should be enough. Be intuitive to go with the subtle direction of thoughts and explore. this going by questioning, jumping from branch to branch was jarring. IMHO- love to both women
Such intellectual yet endearing interviews can happen only with Konkana. I think it is more so with her mother, or I may be biased as I am a die-hard fan of Aparna Sen.

How on earth did she miss Shruti from LIAM as an angry character from her filmography?! She literally howled out her anger at the freakkin world from on top of a building! Also I had hoped 2009 would get a mention. She appeared as characters in two films made by two so-called mainstream and established production houses (LBC and WUS) and boy was she spectacular in both (especially LBC).
Nowadays i feel very troubled in expressing myself through speaking . I just staired astonished to kankona and her mother aparnadi , when they are acting or giving there interviews , not perturbed but just throw their inner voice with variations with up and down of vocal tone .
