      that could concivably be said if you had decades of watching these tournaments, seeing the great players of the days. Presumptious to say something like "Ronnie is the best there ever was, and the best who will ever be." Someday there will be a player that dominates even the great Ronnie- history says that.

    Hendry: for a right-handed player, that red along the cushion would normally be difficult, but of course, Ronnie can play it left-handed.

    You have to feel a bit for his opponent, playing at the form of his life, winning like a champ until he is up against Ronnie O'Sullivan who humiliates him 6-0 and then finishes him off with a perfect game.

    Love Ronnie, been watching him since he was about 15, remember saying to a mate keep your eyes peeled for this guy O'Sullivan, he's going to be the best. You often hear no one is bigger than the sport, be it football, Basketball, etc but Ronnie is the sport and when he retires it'll be the end of me watching pro snooker.

    In the previous frame, Ronnie had a small chance at the maximum (red in baulk notwithstanding), and made two incredible reds after clinching the frame, but missed a straightforward black at 89. Ronnie coming back from that and immediately getting the maximum in this frame is one of my favorite snooker memories.

    This 147 was different to the others. This one had a real swagger to it. The table was running a beautiful pace and Ronnie was able to play a few great reds into the centre pockets.

    John Virgo really captures the emotion of the situation. He's really rooting for Ronnie to go all the way and get the 147. I always liked the way John would take great interest in the mindset of the players which brought an added dimension to the game.

    He can't retire ! The day the snooker died ! We're so lucky he's still playing in his late 40s he could get in to his late 50s considering how good he's playing right now ! If he does that would take me into my 60s , so l can't grumble! Watched a life time off Ronnie the rocket, sorry for the generation who won't see this live !

    The shot on the pink was just incredible to witness after the near miss blue. It was such a crisp shot and as soon as he potted it, he knew...not with the early fist pumping...but with the ambiance of the crowd and perfect set up he already knew he had on the black.
    What a performance.

    Очень благодарна , что в один прекрасный день случайно по каналу "Евроспорт" посмотрела игру снукер , которую комментировал Синицын Владимир Борисович, играл О 'Салливан ( это был 1998 год кажется ,с кем играл не помню, извините ), и все .....Теперь это лучший вид спорта для меня.       I agree, seldom I was excited as I was when witnessing 147's live. The pressure and feeling in my stomach as if I was ill I feel is almost unbearable. Its impossible to comprehend what must go on in these players.

    The greatest ever. The Federer of snooker. I've been fortunate enough to follow snooker since O'Sullivan's emergence and the game will definitely miss him sorely. Certain characteristics and styles can come and go and be replicated over the history of a sport, but there are those few true masters who will never be seen again.

    The guy is absolute class and top notch quality. He's completely unique and long may he stay happy and healthy. God bless you Ronnie. I live in York and funnily enough have come across him in M and S York during 3 UK Champs and every time has had the grace to give me an autograph even though I'm sure at times he gets tired of the constant public attention. ❤🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    If u play snooker only then can you appreciate how talented Ronnie is. He's a genius. The very best of our generation. I don't even think there is a pro on tour that would dispute that statement. We'll NEVER see a player like him in our lifetime so enjoy him while you can👏👏👏👏

    9:05 looks simple, but angle is small and he needs to raise back of his cue to drive the White.

    as a french i discovered snooker in a vacation in nz , at that "old" time it was a match with stephen hendry beeing at his top , than i started followed more intensely and started to know this guy ... of course no doubt he is the reason snooker went to another dimension , but i still want to put there stephen hendry name still... totally "different vision of game" but gosh both of them are just absolutely awesome ... thanks anyway for that video !!

      Ronnie just made everyone's day except the opponent , the audience is entertained , the camera man got to rest early and so is the referee , the commentator got to narrate a good player . Who couldnt like this guy
