It's hard to take these compilations seriously when they leave out the most amazing snooker escape there has ever been where Ronnie hit what he was aiming for after using 5 cushions to get the job done !!
Agree with you about not taking these compilations seriously and this compilation in particular and it isn't necessarily the order...#50 through #1...nothing is said about the circumstances of the match and his position in the tournament, etc. But the thing that really got me - and this is the most stunning example - that of all the shots you could have found to display (and you didn't have to even have 50 of them), is that you had to include a fluke shot. There are a thousand shots you could have used to find 50 and I just don't understand when you're trying to show off his skills and shot-making ability WHY would you use number 7, which was a dead-straight UNMISSABLE plant? And, for God's sake, why would you use flukes (numbers 32, 24,10 and 3) and WHY would you possibly use number 9, in which Ronnie FOULED???!!! SMH!
Wow, what a phenomenal display of billiard skills! Efren Bata Reyes continues to amaze me with his incredible shots. His style and finesse make pool look like an art form. Thank you for putting together this amazing compilation! 🙌
Of course, that's only a snapshot of the brilliance of O'Sullivan, good as they are. Been watching snooker for >40 years and any casual observer reading this trust me, this guy is a scientist of the highest order. The skill and precision to do what he does is off the chart. Go to a table, pick up a cue and try it, you will be amazed at the gulf between what you experience and what you watch e.g. O'Sullivan - but in a good way may I add. The guy is one of the greatest sportspeople of all time, across any sport, I truly believe that.
This is a good compilation. But I think it'd be better if we were shown how RoS has kept us entertained for >30 years. That's over 2 generations. This alone makes RoS the GOAT.
thanks for the compilation and the effort put in, I can argue with many shots to be or not to be in the list (or the order), but that is just personal preference. Number 1 and 41 are the same and I would not include obvious flukes in a list like this. cheers
By 12:37 (I had to leave early) I haven't seen any particularly brilliant shooting, although he seems to have very good leaves. Probably doesn't need to make many brilliant shots due to the quality of his leaves, which I think is the mark of a truly marvelous player.
I like watching these snooker videos but can we please get away from showing some of the shots twice. This is not live footage, it can be edited to remove the replay or alternative camera angle.
There were a few flukes but the 1 thing about Ronnie compared to other's is he hates getting a fluke and feels like he cheated his opponent so apologises.
Yeah No Dount Yesterday Ronnie Lost To Vafai But I wanna appreciate Vafai because He played very Well . Ronnie Also Give Him Tough Time But Unfortunately he Lost.
I thought a shot that Ronnie played vs Selby in 2020 WC would be close to number one. Cue ball was glued to the baulk cushion when he potted a long opening red, i think on frame 32.
@@markmaudling8237 oh yeah I definitely agree. Especially given that most of us watching expected him to whack it like the prior few snookers he was in.
Shot 8, 7, 6. Should have been 50, 49, 48. You got that a bit wrong. Plus the 8 one. How his appointment got out of that snooker. Was 10x better. If you have seen it.
That's the worst compilation I've ever seen. The top 10 included 6 shots that I knock in on a regular basis. I have a high break of 60 something. Do you catch my drift? What a waste of 15 minutes.
So shot 1 is a repeat of an earlier shot. Don't get that. Missed the shot for 147 where he had to split red and pink. Also about 3 flukes, not great shots. Poor list.
The one at 7.48? Because he played for it, it was the best option, it was the best shot, it was sort of on and he knew it. And so did John Virgo commentating as did Ricky Walden, hence the smiles all round. I would say at 14.35 wasn't a fluke.
@@fontyyy No, I don't mean the one at 7:48, that's a famous shot where he deliberately played for luck to break the record and got the luck. No-one begrudges him that one. The one at 14:35 was absolutely a fluke. Pool players like Reyes can play those shots, with the smaller table, large balls and huge pockets, but no snooker player can deliberately do it. Plus he holds his hand up to his opponent in apology, i.e., he's saying it was a fluke. Plus the commentator -- a professional player -- labels it a fluke. So, I'm saying it shouldn't be included, and I don't know why you'd say it wasn't a fluke.
7 acasos eu contei.
32 is a fluke, and no place in the compilation 24 is a fluke, but also a famous hit and hope. 10 was a fluke, but he made the great safety shot he was attempting. 3 is a fluke, but the impressive part is that he hit it. Could have gone anywhere, probably doesn’t belong. That’s still only 32 and 3 that I wouldn’t have included. 2 shorts out of 50
Of all the amazing shots Ronnie has played in his entire career, included one handed shots and crazy doubles, the top 3 according to this video are a fluke, an up and down safety and a great but ultimately meaningless shot which was also no. 41....
He is a genius. But: if you understand the physics of balls, these were not magic. Many shots were carom shots. You need drive the white ball. And you can do it. Yes, of course, you need a stable hand. But some shots had lucky. Learn and try it!
Nuclear bomb is genius, but if tou understand the physics and chemistry it will be no longer considered magic , Listen my son , the magic resides in making it perfectly for years not once or twice, can you do it can i do it can more than 7 billions of people do it ? nooo so its magic

Since I grew up watching Hendry. I personally think Hendry was better. Just my opinion as he dominated snooker for that period. Ronnie has overtaken him in terms of accolades now. Also since Ronnie is English he gets over glamorized. If Hendry was not a Scott it would have been a different story.
Shot 47 was the best shot..Ronnie already said this
My exact words, doing this left handed whilst on a 147 is beyond skill it take balls the size of wheel barrows.
100% mate he said it in his interview with Stephen Hendry I believe. Amazing shot 👍👍
I could watch him all day
Appreciate him while he’s still playing, there’ll never be another!
He was Nothing till Hendry retired

tbh i i have seen at least 50 shots from Ronnie, better than each shot you displayed in this video, also Flukes should be EXCLUDED
Great video,I can watch Ronnie all day
Thanks
The greatest sportsman of all time....... bar none!
Shot no 26 ❤ No one could have even thought about it. What a shot

This is a good compilation.

Great video thank you, although I had 4 seizures due to those transitions. A simple fade will do perfectly.

An absolute legend
I only watch Ronnie's matches
Same here.
Good man Ronald.
Some of this stuff is Reyes-like. On a snooker table. No. 31 is especially ridiculous and it's against the captain 😎
Thanks a lot
Shot number 41 is the same as no 1.
Just goes to show why he's always been my no1

Shot number 44 is best as it is difficult than any other . Black is at the green place
47 has to be higher - left handed, tough pot and perfect position for the black - for a 147

#32 in for what reason?
announcing each shot clip ruins the video.
❤️👍🥰
commentator saying shot #3 was a fluke 🌝
Why add the flukes? They are definitely not the best shots he played if they were flukes! Could have been a much better video!
Only flukes are 32 & 24 .. other shots were intended. P.s I stopped watching at shot 20
Shot #41 and shot #1 are the same shot.

Many flukes among the top 50 shots. Please, don't advertise Ronnie's shots with wrong claims, he's good enough and doesn't need this publicity.
Two and a half flukes out of 50 can't be considered "many".
