- I installed this system 2 years ago and never had a problem, however in this case the Solar water heater system needed a light service because it hasn’t been used for over a year.
This tubing system is very good and has a low maintenance rating hence why I went for the tube system, 0 faults so far.
The main reason why we had to changed the release valves is because the system has no hot water due to a failed release valve which was a easy fix, and all that could have been avoided if the system was regularly used.
Anyway my understanding of solar water heating system today is to maintain its optimum performance the system need to be regularly used.

the tubing heat much faster that the panel when the panel is burn out you have to replace the whole system if one of the tube damage you can get replacing tube and when you or leaving turn of the cold valve feeling the tank can't tell you if the water is hot or cold

You know it bring back memory when we bought one of those solar water heater for the house, the sellers asked if we were connecting it to the electricity. I was shocked as I thought solar should be just that - operating fully off the sun. They claimed that if its not connected electrically then if the time gets cloudy I would not be able to get the benefit of hot water. Well I have not connected it to the electricity and I am never out of hot water.
Prior to my online research I never knew that solar water heater system can connected to electricity.
At one point I was thinking of getting it connect to electricity and I quickly changed my mind when I started watching your channel.
However, having the option is not a bad idea if you live in parts of the country were the sunshine is not as potent as central...
@@stoneyvill Yes those persons living in such areas may need it. I just want to get rid of being so reliant on JPS so once the unit can operate on solar totally I will consider it

The solar water heater system is running at it's full optimum performance at any given time, no matter the weather we got hot water with no issues years later.
The system still handles 10-15 showers per day🔥🌡️
What size SWH is that?
I think it's a 50 gallon, it worked really well, on a sunny day we got up to 10 showers on a full tank, and it was up and running again within 2 hours. bear in mind it gets really hot🔥 64°c
