Hi @user-lb1eh8hn8s thanks a lot for your comment. It would be really helpful for me to get my video seen, as I'm no IT expert, to either share the channel or at least post it to your friends. My videos might not be RUclips superstars, but they save Appliances from the scrapheap. Share and help us fight appliance waste! Thank you very much. I do try to make it in as much detail as possible so people understand how the systems work and what pre-emptive maintenance they can do. Please remember to subscribe to the channel as that's what keeps us going unable to allow me to make more videos for you. Have a great Christmas and a happy New Year,

V interesting as I have a similar HW system here in Spain. My neighbours are on their third solar HW system in 10 years! Mainly due to the awful installation and difficulty in obtaining decent advice. Same applies to all complex heating systems in the UK, not enough professionals and too many salesmen.
Hi Tim, I completely agree with you. I've been living in Portugal and working on installations for the past 7 years, and the main issue is that salespeople don't inform customers about the need to replace the anode every 18 months. It's also important to open up the tank every 3 years to remove any built-up calcification. Additionally, the glycol in the high hot water system should be replaced every 5 to 7 years. These small maintenance tasks, which cost very little, can greatly extend a system's lifespan. Most people aren't aware of the galvanic scale, and if the anode has worn out, the weakest elements in the tank will be made of copper or aluminium. This can lead to rot and corrosion, causing the tank to rupture and eventually requiring a full system replacement. I always tell my channel viewers who watch domestic appliance videos that pre-emptive maintenance is crucial. It's such an important aspect of keeping water systems in good condition. I always get my equipment from www.hotsolarwater.com They supply systems all over the world. They have spare parts and helpful videos for maintenance. I’m also putting a playlist together of videos that are relevant to either swimming pool heating or solar water heating for houses (ruclips.net/p/PLnAHZbSarsyGeTpxAmG6JR7ifnT1PK0kq)
Always welcome mate, all I'm trying to do is teach in the correct way that everyone understands. It would be really helpful for me to get my video shared and help us fight appliance waste! Please remember to subscribe to our channel, as that really helps us 😇
hI, I have the same sistem and I have a weired issue. I did a full maintenance and the heater work great durring the day, even up until 10 pm I have hot water but in the morning there is no hot water until a couple hours of sun. I added a check valve so there is no return and I have hired a service to see if I have any lick inside the house and its all good. for the first 4 years my heater worked perfectly and its doing this now. Do you have any ideas of what the issue is? Thank you.

You're lucky, I got to make this on a non-typical Algarve day it's usually too hot on the roofs for the camera to work. Really glad you enjoyed it. Pre-emptive maintenance is a really important thing, especially when you're dealing with an item that can give electrolysis problems. glad we could help you @sirmandelino this is for you ruclips.net/user/shortse432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's what keeps this channel going. Thank you very much for the perfect explanation. Could you please advice how to change NTC 10K temperature sensor( our is B3950) ?? In our case, after changing the heater and the thermostat, we have an error on the control unit and now it doesn’t work :( . Thanks in advance!!

Respect from 🇯🇲💯
Merci beaucoup, mais j’ai une question:Quelle est le rôle de l’électricité dans le ballon de stockage?
Is it necessary to install heating element over a solar heat controller!?? For automatic or the thermostat is enough!!
Does it mean that an external electricity will be connected to the tank for the thermostat to work?
