Upgrading your Tacoma's horn

- I've never been really impressed with OEM horns, especially on trucks and SUVs. Replacing the horn with something better is a popular thing to do and if you want something louder, it will need to be an air horn. How easy is that to do and does it really make a difference? Will a cheap one work? And how do you wire it up? There are other videos out there about these horns and installing them in your truck, but they all leave some key details out. Keep watching to have all your questions answered.
Here's what I installed: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08... - Авто/Мото
"Because electricity is not gay"
I have never heard that one, but its a great example lol
You can't go wrong by siding with nature.

Followed this worked great on my 05 . The compressor is a tight fit putting the grill on and had to sawter the white wire to extend aswell as buying longer tube from Home Depot but it worked in the end
I'm glad to hear that.
I wonder what putting 2, 3, 4 of these in tandem would do for the volume. I also wonder if you could wrap something, clamp something, add weight to one or two of the horns to change the tone of each. I wonder if you left them all the same if they would cancel one another out. Or if you'd have to face in opposing directions, or if it would matter. I just know if you have 2 of the same speaker driver too close, it'll actually be quieter due to nulling. But I don't know how that would work here. For the price, it would be nice to buy 2 for 60 and have it be like this but x2. But I'm also driving a little chevy cruze so we will have to see if 1 even fits anywhere discrete let alone 2-3 😁
That's a lot to wonder about.
I spent $100 on mine for 5 hours and the air compressor pretty good deal I think
5 hours?
About how many decibels ?
I wish I knew, but I don't have a way to measure it. I was hoping the video would show the difference between it and the OEM horn.
I ordered the same horn. They claim 150 db. Will be installing soon...
Cool. That's a pretty high measurement.
7 hours later, horns drive me crazy! Negative trigger.... posative trigger... my horn already has a hidden relay somewhere, I'm adding another I guess. Arrrrrrrr. Horns and printers both can suck it.
Sorry to hear about your trouble. My installation here was pretty easy.
Electricity is not gay!😂😂😂
what a wirering mess
My mess?
