They may have been influenced by bands that have achieved “greatness”, but the worldwide acclaim that determined that “greatness” is the only thing they have which Lovebites doesn’t. Lovebites are better in every department, musical, cultural, artistic, than any band playing “heavy metal” that have gone before them. I know Asami would blush at this remark because I know that she is a great admirer of Messi, but one term must surely apply to Lovebites (however “famous “ they currently are). GOAT.

@@RichBenares Of course we can "mention" past members of bands because their fingerprints are on the songs we listen to. Some may like Burton better than Newsted, some the other way around. Miho has her fingerprints on 50 or so songs (never hard counted). Being a co-founder is what I think puts some of Miho's followers a little over protective of anything said that isn't purely positive. In Fami's case, one song, Lovebites just sounds better. What will really be interesting is listening to Fami play pre-existing songs. Break the Wall IMO will be a perfect test of Fami because that's a pure thrash song, something right up Miho's wheelhouse..

Yeah, this song's great. The entire album will be more of the same. I mean, when you look at Lovebites' release schedule over the years since their demo EP, it's been album, six months later EP, six months later album 2, six months later EP, six months later album 3 and accompanying single, six months later...nothing...six months LATER EP (not album...) and then six months later Miho left. So it appears in retrospect that maybe they were having internal problems before anyone outside the circle knew about it, or maybe Miyako was having some sort of writer's block and that's why there was no EP when there normally would have been one, and then they finally released an EP instead of what would normally be an album....point being they've essentially had three years to come up with a new album, so we should expect it to be an absolute monster like this track is. Actually scratch that, there was no EP between albums 2 and 3, but you get the point.
Sometimes the sound is interrupted and the talk is covered, making it difficult to hear the sound. The composition is ruined because the guitar solo is stopped in the middle.
