Well you're in luck with Lovebites, because all their songs are in English, unlike almost all the other Japanese bands. So you don't have to learn Japanese, unless you want to.
Well, Michael . . if you love Japan, and love (heavy?) Music, you have found the right place. There are an amazing number of amazing Japanese Metal/Hard Rock bands, many of them all female. Lovebites is my favorite, but they are far from the only one I listen to. This was an older recording (2020) and has their old bassist and founding member, Miho. But Miho quit the band in 2021 and they went on hiatus for awhile during Covid. The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from around the world and recruited a new bassist called Fami(Ba).
Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing and play and has 695,000 RUclips subscribers.

Well, Michael . . if you love Japan, and love (heavy?) Music, you have found the right place. There are an amazing number of amazing Japanese Metal/Hard Rock bands, many of them all female. Lovebites is my favorite, but they are far from the only one I listen to. This was an older recording (2020) and has their old bassist and founding member, Miho. But Miho quit the band in 2021 and they went on hiatus for awhile during Covid.
