Fishing Specialties pole mount, can you provide setup info?

It’s the Fischer mount from Dugout Bait and Tackle. I believe it’s the same mount from Fishing Specialities.

Do you have a link or model for that Captain's bridge you're using for the 2 graphs?

    Great video, thank you!
I currently have a Hobie but am looking into the AP, would it be possible to have you do a video on your electronics and how that is all situated including the mounts / bars you used? I have a similar electronics setup with 2 graphs and livescope / fpv hub the setup on the Hobie seems a bit more straightforward than the AP but that might just be because I'm very familiar with the Hobie.

I’ve recently purchased a Johnson Outdoors Old Town SPORTSMAN AUTOPILOT 120.
I do like the wireless handheld remote. However, ideally I’d like to stand and cast continuously while navigating amongst the current and structure. So I was wondering if this electric motor is compatible with a foot pedal control?
Being new to electric motors, any info or pointers would be great 🙏
    Cheers
    Ryan Australia

Congrats and great choice. I bought a micro remote to wear around my neck so I can navigate while standing. Much lighter…. I leave the original remote fixed to the kayak so I can use in the seated position. The foot pedals are not connected to the motor.

@@WannaFishAllDay that’s good to know, I’ll have a look into the micro remote. Nice work with the video and I appreciate the feedback

Hey there. Where did you find that mesh bag for the front hatch? Would also love to know where you got that drain kit. Thank you, Josh

Mesh bag is just a regular laundry bag on amazon. The drains are from Gemlux (small white nylon drains), tubing is silicone 3/8” tubing from
Amazon as well. I used a little gorilla glue to seal the drains in the cupholder. Might do a short video to demo in the near future.

Pretty cool upgrades. I saw your video on the lights. You always find the latest & greatest kayak accessories. The fitted out yak looks awesome 👍🏻

As a fellow AP120 owner (‘20), keel guards and a NKF transducer mount are at the top of my list of upgrades. The third would be a wheel solution (currently using the YakAttack Bunkster,) while my fourth would be either the NKF rod replacements, a quality seat cushion for the long days on the water, or replacing the front hatch with a better quality one that is more watertight from what was installed on mine.
I’ve seen the cup holder drains and am curious your thoughts after a few months with them.

Thanks! All great upgrades! Love the drains. I had it on my other AutoPilot and had zero issues.

Where did you buy the wireless navigation lights at that’s the only thing I’m missing for my autopilot

    • @WannaFishAllDay

It’s the kayak light kit from www.guardianangeldevices.com.

I just stole one of my wife’s small laundry bags with a zipper lol. I cut out an opening at the bottom of the bag and just screwed it in with the hatch lid.

The auto pilot control, how did you install it to your side carry handle?

    • @WannaFishAllDay
      @WannaFishAllDay  6 месяцев назад +1

I used a navarre handle that has a t bolt slot with a YakAttack camera mount for the remote. Works great!
