Whilst I got this heatmap to work with animations on the desktop version, when published and viewed via iPhone, the map's heatmap layer was not visible and the map slowly tracked northward. Whilst the map's settings for pan, zoom and autofit were all enabled, this functionality did not translate when accessed via the iPhone. I thought this might be caused by an overly large dataset (~30K records to display), though the issue still persisted when dataset was reduced to ~5K records. FYI, this issue was using an iPhone 6s, the IOS version is v11.3.1 and Power BI is v15.6.

As a GIS specialist, it would be nice to see BI have the ability to interact with network analysis capabilities and in articular service area for multiple points not just one like ArcGIS MAps for BI offers

Setting the playback speed to 0.75 resulted in better pace for me :)

I do have a question regarding the visualization of large data sets with Power BI's heatmap. Specifically, if I have a million rows of longitude and latitude data, how can I display it using the Power BI heatmap? Currently, it only displays up to 30K rows. Thanks!

Thanks. The animation is quite interesting. I am looking for something similar but for a timeline or scatterplot. E.g how do sales develop over time visualized by an increase bubble size. Do you know something like that? Thanks

Thanks. I got one other problem you might have an answer for. I want to provide access to a certain report to 1000 people. However everyone should have a customized view on his/her data. I know that it's possible to create roles and then attach email addresses to these roles in the Power BI Service. But it would we way to cumbersome to do that manually for 1000 people. How could this process be automated? Big thanks.
