I am wondering if a swivel base like the one you used in this video, could be put on a new recliner that does everything but swivel. I would so much appreciate if you could just give me a little idea if in you’re opinion be done. Thank you.
I have a chair that I want to convert to a swivel but I will lose the height of the legs of the chair. Is there a way to build up the base of the chair to add the swivel mechanism to that wouldn't be seen when the project is completed?
Cool - love this. Looks easy enough, now to order the thing to get to America.
my god this comment is old

Have been trying to find this mechanism and no luck. The site appears to no longer be valid.
Has anyone ever found a reliable site where this mechanism can be purchased?

My adventure with woodworking started with Woodglut.
Stodoys plans Blueprints has some very useful blueprints with all the details you need.
I did it with the Woodglut plans.
This time I'll use WoodPriX instructions to make it by myself.
If you like woodworking, just look for Stodoys plans.
