i must say its fantastic to see the way you work, where are you based ? i have iphone 5s and i have the same problem , not charging blank screen, i would want to have a look at my phone hopefully u ll come up with a solution.
Good day Sir, I have just been a new fan of your videos. I have an iPhone 5s model phone yet the phone is dead due to shorted charger while the phone was charging. I have tried to check it with the local technicians here and they said the battery is fine, the charging port is fine and have to replace the board itself. Sir may I ask what do you think the problem of the phone? The phone itself doesn’t smell like burned. Thank you sir.

I love it on some of his videos when he says, this is not a complicated job, this video will be short, then you look down at the video duration and it says 90 minutes, so you think , hmmm he must have hit a problem...lol...
Or you may leave your phone off for about 5 hours to cool down. I have seen this work many times.

So have u learnt from this video how to know for fact it is the ic or charging port, or is it still difficult to work out?
I guess there is no way to test an IC chip before you take it off. It would save you time and frustration in case the problem was not the chip. Anyway, watching almost all of your videos I am really amazed how flexible and fast you are in diagnosing and repairing electronics. Thanks for the good work.

actually you can test it by measuring the voltage in the battery plug in the board if you measure lower than 3.2v it is faulty

yeah, do not assume, i did that before, talking to my costumer saying that's the problem and this is the price, and when i open the phone, right after i open it was water damage,..i don't know haw to explain because i expect it was simple problem,..i don't have a choice but to fix it,. and luckily the costumer is watching while i'm repairing, and then came to my mind, why not tell him, and accept my mistake, i was so lucky that the costumer understands, i give additional charges and say sorry i thought the problem is what i think, but it is not,.sometimes it happens if you base on your experience,, to much experience, assuming you know it already,.and its not, but like you said, no one is perfect, just accept the mistake and let the costumer know..

So I replaced a ic, charging port, battery digitizer display, but it is not showing any image on the screen and it is showing no amps or voltage, for the iPhone 5s, any advise to what it could be?
