Just wanted to show my appreciation to this guy for showing me how to fix my iPhone 8 that I dropped in water a few months ago. I started watching his videos a couple of days ago with no knowledge of diagnosing iphone motherboards, to pinpointing a short on my iphone motherboard and fixing the phone. Honestly couldn’t of done this without the help of you. Thank you very much and I wish you all the best in future you absolute legend.

sharfaz hameed do you know when he finds the solution? And did you fix your iPhone? Mine won't turn on or connect to a power source even a hard reset doesn't work.
I bought water damaged iphone 6 for about 50 euro, and i took off all the shields but the board was completely okay, the problem was with the home button! The connector that come out of the home button was corroded and caused the phone to not boot!
Anyways, thanks for the video, you explain very good and talk slow so i appreciate that!

Why are you disconnecting battery when connecting screen? Can you damage charging IC if you dont do that?

The top one? That's USB power meter, below it's power supply (with A on it), below it's voltmeter

I got an I Phone 6, the one who sold it to me just said the homebutton is missing! I thought this could be a good present for christmas and the homebutten is cheap and easy to fix!! But now i get it and i tried to charge it and when i plug it on the current jumps between 0.5A and 0A but the phone wont come up do you have an idea what i need to check first???

I have an iphone 6 plus that wont charge. I connect the charger and it appears to charge but wont power on. I changed the usb bock port and still have the problem. Im going to buy a mew battery to see if thats the problem.
My iPhone 6s won't turn on. I took it to apple store and they told me it's not from the battery and they said the phone is dead and I should replace it with a new one and the phone is one year old. He has a laboratory power supply, he can adjust voltage and amperage on it manually. Is that what you're asking?

Sorin, please help I know you hate to answer over the Internet. I’m working on iPhone 6 and it’s dead short on vcc main, multimeter 0.00 diode mode on + and - of the motherboard battery connector, dead short. So I freeze the board and I apply 5v and 5a from my power supply nothing is getting hot, the first things is getting hot is actually the probs of power supply the rest of the board showing no signs of heat what so ever. Is it any other technic you know how to find a short on cases like mine, please help I’m really stuck and feel very disappointed because I cant diagnose any further. Maybe you can make a video of how to find a short when nothing is getting hot when you using power supply, this is driving me crazy please help.
Sorin, sorry for bothering you again, I got figured out I replaced pmic and had tracks touching each other underneath of the chip I took it out and cleaned the tracks and my short was gone. But like I said that was no heat from the board what so ever. Maybe you can mention about mistakes like that in your next video so people can learn from this. And is it any way I can get your email so I can ask questions from time to time because I still learning. I won’t bug you with dumb questions I promise, just situations I might gonna have with all the details and diagnosis been done already so you will have clean understanding what I’m doing wrong or could have done wrong. I Guess he tried to express that he didn't know anything of this phone. To solve real issues with iPhones, you have to know your ways through the phone. And that's not magic, but still very good;-)
