He sounds better live or in the onetake vocal playthrough video he made. There's too much production on his vocals in the album version. Production on their latest album is better compared to the EP with this song on.

I never tire of watching people experience Lorna Shore for the first time. I'm a metalhead through and through. 90% of my library is various types of metal. Lorna Shore was band that hooked me on deathcore. One of the only bands in the genre I listen to (WBTBWB is another one that I frequent). This song... or every song that I've heard Will be a part of gives me goosebumps. I also have really bad ADHD (diagnosed for 26 years now), and Lorna Shore just immediately puts me in a state of relaxation. One thing I would suggest is looking up the lyrics, because the songs are VERY deep. Also yes. You should definitely watch Will Ramos's one take performances (ESPECIALLY his cover of Sleep Token's Chokehold) I honestly and truly believe that out of any deathcore band... Ramos era Lorna Shore is the easiest band to fall in love with. That anyone of any walk of life could appreciate as art, once you break down everything, lyrically and musically. It is incredibly beautiful stuff. Will is also one of the VERY few screamers that I can actually understand (for the most part) without the aid of lyrics (Fun fact about the band... Their new bassist (who joined in 2021 is actually a drummer... who learned bass in 2021... specifically so he could join Lorna Shore. That is fucking bonkers... they just put up a video playthrough of him playing the song Cursed to Die and it's just mind blowing)

Infant Annihilator is known for 10/10 songs. Everything by them is just perfect

Take a look at the one take performances and Pain Remains 1 to really get a feel for the vocals and skill of the band, this track pushes Wills vocals back in the mix making it harder to understand

A lot of the time for first time death metal core listeners you need to listen for NOT necessarily the lyrics but the music itself, time signatures, the double bass beat. Hell Will's vocal range is sick.

Well your right to compare Lorna to slaughter they are the same genre if u want to check out more deathcore (the genre that this music is ) u should check out Lorna shores song sun//eater or of the abyss and if u want a different band do Chelsea grin and maybe there song recreant or do will Ramos 'es cover of that song (will is the singer of Lorna shore and yes u pronounced the name right ) and if u want to see will sing clean to my knowledge he only sung clean vocals in two song a vocal cover on a band called sleep tokens song called hypnosis or another one of there songs called chokehold and yes he is a amazing clean singer too if y want my opinion react to his cover of hypnosis first but you definitely should check some more of his music out .
