That reversal was epic dude. Been binging your videos after discovering your channel recently. Most of your kills are through clever and patient tactics, coordinated teamwork etc so I sometimes forget just how awesome a defensive flyer you are when you need to be!
I kinda like when people watch the back catalogue, and I like to see their comments as they hop from video to video.
I just purchased this Sim, mostly due to your videos, I mean this looks amazing. Take me a while to learn but I hope to meet you in the virtual skies.

Wow. The fight against the P47 was pretty amazing. I was sure that when your zoom climb stalled that you were a goner, the Thunderbolt right on your 6. I will have to watch the replay again to see how your reversed him.

the only thing that annoyed me was people telling others in chat not to fly the 262
we are all here to have fun and if someone wants to learn to fly the plane in a multiplayer map, they shouldn't be spat on for trying.
I find it more upsetting to see others putting people down for attempting something outside their comfort zone.
If I find someone telling me not to try something because I am not 'good enough' I will personally blacklist them from my social media platforms and have nothing more to do with that individual.

You can tell all the planes in the Staffel that Sherrif has used, the seat cushions have no buttons left on them due to his landing style.
This brand new P-47 Razorback seems very competitive when flown well. It is considerably faster than the bubble-top version.

I sure like to see you have to work for your kill on that first Razorback. I can watch you drop in on unsuspecting low E nubz all day, but this was especially enjoyable.
I used to fly with Nines in War Thunder! I'm planning to get into IL-2. I finally just bought a shiny new PC that can run it and I'm getting a proper stick setup with TrackIR. I used to be regulated to a PS4 controller.

So I bought il2 last week and love it, thought I’d try multiplayer after getting comfy in single thanks to yours and others videos (thanks for that 🤟)
Got shot down 4 times only a few minutes from taking off and gave up before I threw my pc across the room 😢
it takes practice and more practice. And in between patience. Its not a game which you can learn on an afternoon, like CoD or Mario Smash Brothers. Well even there you get mauled by expierienced players. But here its 10x
Sheriff's Sim Shack didn’t expect a reply 😊 I used to play Microsoft combat flight sim 3 back in the day, been on sims for years I just always get slaughtered by other players, usually the ones with full vr 😂, it’s spotting that lets me down I never seem to be able to see them even if I’m looking around constantly...
which is why I tend to stick to ground pounding planes 😂
Plus playing alone never seems to end well, but no one I know is interested in flight sims, they’re all off playing cod 😒🙄

Yeah, I’ve been trying to work on surviveability lately. I can score kills on almost every sortie, but then always get shot down shortly afterwards. Any tips on surviving after scoring a kill?
What graphics settings are you using to get these great details? Hopefully when the Reverb G2 and the 3080ti is available I can get the same in VR.

Fun video to watch. Just got the game earlier last month flying offline until I get re-acquainted with MP. I previously flew for about 10+ years with IL2/Pacific Fighters/1946 on GreaterGreen and other servers. I stopped about 8 years ago and my rig is 9 years old. Currently runs BoS,BoM and BoK at about 38FPS...not really optimized. Nevertheless, what type of rig are you running? Very beautiful graphics and smoothness of play.

I’m still learning iL2 coming from DCS, I’m assuming you pushed positive G in the turn to force the overshoot against the jug? Great flying haven’t got the skill to fly online yet, but working on it.
in which turn? there were many. First and foremost I didnt want to get hit.
@@SheriffsSimShack it was the second or third turn, your virtual pilot was starting to black out and from the look of the video you didn't appear to pulling that much negative G, so I assumed you pushed positive. I have used this technique myself to force over shoots in the A3 as it rapidly decelerates the aircraft while maintaining the lateral turn. Thanks for the reply great stuff. Im learning and your videos are really helping.

@@SheriffsSimShack Es war möglich 4 zu verbauen. Wurde aber selten gemacht. Die Flügel der D-9 und A-8 sind die selben.
Mir ist kein fall bekannt.

"Just watches" yeah. What use am I to my ground forces when my aircraft is littered across the ground by a higher enemy? You always have to think about the next attack not just the current one. I was in no way in position to help quickly
might just be a game, sure, but to do well (and while sheriff may be no GOD of il2 and I'm sure makes plenty of mistakes, he seems quite competent) you have to make good decisions. It's The Red Baron sort of thinking, he wasn't THE BEST pilot of WW1, but he was arguably one of the smartest; don't engage in a fight you can NOT win.
Can you go in and get a kill? maybe, but how do you get out? what happens if you lose your energy in order to kill 1 plane, go immediately defensive due to being outnumbered 2-1, then get jumped by a guy with more energy you didn't see? That small advantage of energy you had that allowed you to escape the number disadvantage is suddenly gone. And if you go in on that fight, and scuff up your shot, or the "easy kill" pulls some strange move and you don't get the kill? you run a chance of not only NOT going 1 for 1 but 0 for 1.
However I don't fly or play IL2 so what do I know. *shrugs*

In the end I shot down one, draged two away from the rest of the ground forces. They appaerently climed too in fear to be bounced again. They got bounced at least one more got destroyed after that. In air combat you have to fly with the "you cant safe them all mindset" just does not work.
“Conga line of death...”. You had a chance to take the trailing P47 from below but failed too. Your ground forces are getting savaged by fighter bombers while you drill holes in the sky seeking perfect position. Boring to watch as well.
