Watching that 109 intercept that Yak above you just proves to me even more how badly I need to hop online in this game. I have 40+ hours now flying around in career but I'm sure I'd have a hard time transitioning. Either way, your videos convince me it's worth it. Great flying!
I don't know, why people often do Head-Ons... It's barely a 50/50 chance to get out of it unscathed. Loved to see that the guy got beaten twice at once xD
If you start firing from long range and just let the bullets do their work and then roll away there is a good chance to get away with it. Obviously not risk free, but to keep closing in is just dumb.
@@Mountain_Manu La5-FN and Yak-9T were built significantly before A-8 and unlike it they have no super-overcharge which lasts full 10-minutes, so they are outclassed (especially Yak which is dog-slow).

I’m just constantly amazed how you manage to spot and recognize the enemy aircraft from 2km+ distance :) Have a hard time with that myself :D

Every time I think that I see the enemy far away too in this vid it was dirt on my display....
Which is what they saw if the mechanic forgot to clean the canopy.

just do it. MP is much more exciting and honestly its not that difficult. You will be shot down, but its much more rewarding and interesting.

there is SRS for IL2, but has to be supported by the server admins, and we use Discord.
This A-8 is a late-war plane, Soviet planes aren't (I wish they added some such as Lagg-7 or Yak-9U).
The FN i was facing most in this video was used up until the end of the war
La 7 etc would be nice
La5-FN and Yak-9T are also late war planes, so all good there

Headon in a La5 vs. Fw is not smart for the La5.
