In this video is between the original 50cc cylinder on your scooter and the malossi air cooled 70cc big bore kit. This kit will wake up your scooter. This will fit all 49cc/50cc air cooled Kymco scooters excluding the Kymco zx. To name a few: the Kymco people, super 8, cobra, and many more. If your scooter is water cooler we have kits for that too
For anyone wondering the motor found in the Kymco Cobra and Cross is the very same AF18 found in the Honda SR/DIO/ZX. Honda and Kymco had a partnership in the 90s where the AF18 motor was made. So any of the AF16/18 parts fit on these motors. Super unknown scooters that can be picked up for no money and ridden hard.
That’s truly a nice kit, do I need to worry about the crank holding up? On a lot of the French mopeds I dealt with usually when you do a kit like that they recommend to replace the crank as well. Thanks.
no other changes? no bigger carb? intake or ? if this is all i need this is great. im not looking for more speed but more power would be good
the stock 17,5mm is enough with 95 nozzle or 105
What size gasket would I need for 49cc cylinder? Please help
my question is: do kymco big bore cylinder kit fit into gy6 qmj157 engine?
Are you sure it fit all kymco 2 stroke ac?
I have a question, my friend. Can I install a larger size, which I have is a Camico S8, but its torque is weak. I want to install a larger one to increase the torque.
i bought those carbon reeds as a standalone and they didnt fit at all was that your experience too or is it just me...

why these parts are so goddamn expensive ? menwhile we buy bigger cylinder(than stock) in here (international bike shops) for like 20$ and 30$ but there are not any brand on them or names that you have never heard/cant find even on google, i really like the malossi but its not worth it for me for 125$ while i bought the bike for 175$ used
because: The engine Kymco uses, is one not used by anyone else. There is no Chinese knock off cylinders like what you have, that are made cheap from large scale mass production. There aren't enough Kymco 2 stroke engines in use, to justify large scale production, and there's no reason to clone the engine since the Zuma clone exists.
The only aftermarket cylinders that can exist for it, are ones made small scale. Like the one in the video that Malossi makes. Which out of all of them, is the cheapest complete kit for a bore. Yamaha Zuma cylinders, and some others, can be modified to fit, but require exhaust pipe modifications, and cylinder skirt modification on most of them.
Kymco also sold some of the same horizontal engines to SYM to use in one of their scooters, but that thing is impossible to find now, and most SYM shops refuse to service them since every other model SYM has made has been a 4 stroke- minus the much older stand alone model that used Kymcos previous vertical 2 stroke engine. That also, unsurprisingly, refused service for the same reason.
Could you do the same video for a Kymco Super 8 150cc?...
Help please, I just did a big bore kit, added a lagrer carburetor larger battery, all complete, scooter will not turn over.
