A great insight into the nuances of a tour player, David oozes enthusiasm, just like the rest of us on here. Love to be in with a chance of a lesson and despite being a super senior golfer I still enjoy practising most days.
Who would not want a moment to pick this man’s golfing brain..? 🙌 Please throw my hat in the ring for the lesson. Really enjoyed the many stories which so many golfers can relate to, as they have watched him throughout his career. Genius with the putter !
......man that was entertaining. Great interview Stu. So interesting to hear whats going on between the ears with a player of that caliber....... I think you're becoming the Johnny Carson of golf interviews......keep em coming Stu........⛳🍺
I’d like a lesson as David’s passion for golf shines through. David and Radar hitting hickory clubs with Josh on Sunday night after the 2023 Open in a gale was comedy gold and he was so self deprecating. This interview was just as good content Stu - well done - great insights
I have met and been lucky enough to play a round with David. What a genuinely nice guy and a hell of a golfer. How he is on here and tv is exactly as in person.
Stuart that was more like an interview and absolutely brilliant, loved how you just let him talk, without trying to take the limelight, like some. And some great questions from you, one of the best golf videos I’ve ever seen and trust me I’ve seen a lot, thanks a lot 👍👍
Great video, I would love to win the Skillest Lesson with David, his combination of a kind and self effacing personality but with decades of knowledge and ability would relax me and give me confidence that this affable gentleman really knows his stuff. Fingers crossed 😀
Really enjoyed this Stuart. I’m about three years older than him but hear similar thoughts from him about getting older. My biggest takeaway from this session are the comments about knowing what you do well and playing to those strengths. Thanks for having him on my friend. Hoping life will quiet down and allow me to play some catch up as it relates to golf as a whole. Congrats on 20,000! Well deserved! Warm regards, NWH
Super lovely to hear from NWH!! Hope life is treating you well my friend and many thanks for your kind comments and hoping you get out on the course soon. Best wishes Stu
I would love to win a Skillest session with either of you. I could listen to either of you talking golf for hours and hours. You both speak my language. Great guest, Stu. Appreciate you!
Thank you gentlemen. That has to be the most entertaining hour and a quarter I've spent in a very long time. Great fun, brilliant stories and educational as well. Get it out on Sky. why not? 😁
Absolute gold! Great show! Would love to win a lesson, especially to work on putting. Amazing for me as an amateur is to hear about the journey of coaches and swing changes, seems to never stop, even for pros. Many thanks to both of you!
Please put my hat in the ring. Great to see that pro's struggle with swing thoughts or over thinking like the rest of us! Such an engaging personality.
Amazed he will try something new on the first tee. Thought it was only me who did that. So, I'm not as stupid as I thought I was. New swing really worked for me today.
Great show! Makes me realize I should stop stressing that I hit my irons with a slight left path so much when my shots don't move much offline anymore. (Thanks to your grip video)
Do you know what I love about David, it's his love of the game and the fact we have a similar accent of course. David, you must have so many stories from the years on tour, there must be a book in you surely? Great to hear a tour player admit that just hearing what others are working on is so tempting to have a go at, so it's not just us hackers. As someone who gets a bit narrow on the downswing it was so interesting to hear what his coach had given him to work on which then lead on to win the Dubai. Maybe he could give me something to work on to get out of that bad habit. A lesson from either of you would be a game changer 🤞
That was a brilliant video, I really liked when David was working with the wedge under his feet, it explains so much that I am currently feeling is slightly wrong with my swing. (next lesson for the proper fix for me??) If I had a lesson with David it would definitely be on the short game, it is not that I am bad at it, but I lack a proper understanding of anything other a stock mid launch shot
I would a Skillest session with David to tap into his mental strength, which when under pressure has let me down in competition. I would also love to gain some of his putting knowledge. Currently 4.5 index but my putting is holding me back from going lower
I was his number one fan for sure, I always rooted for him, I was his first person on Davids new skillest. I always love his commentary he calls it so well, Stu fantastic interview. I would grateful for a lesson from a master such as David. You mentioned another show you are doing how do we get visibility of it in Aussie? Thanks mate
Hi Criag, the TV show is coming out on Sky Sport Golf, when it comes out Ill be sure to share where it can be viewed. Hope all is well with you my friend.
I was at the US open at congressional when Rory won, walking off the 10th tee, David H heard me speaking and gave me the ‘bloody Brits’ smile😂 great guy👍
David Howell, what a lovely man, lovely personality, lovely stories. When he tells you the story, of the time he wins a tournament with a single swing thought and that swing thought never works again in his career, you do have to wonder what makes a good golfer is it just God-given talent!!!
I'd absolutely love a lesson from David. I first watched him playing in the amateur at Royal Liverpool when my friend was caddying for Gordon Sherry. Then in 1995 me and the same friend were lucky enough to caddy in the Walker Cup were I met David and I haven't see him since.🤞🙏🏌️♂️😁
A great insight into the nuances of a tour player, David oozes enthusiasm, just like the rest of us on here. Love to be in with a chance of a lesson and despite being a super senior golfer I still enjoy practising most days.
Thanks so much Ray, really appreciate it!
Would love a lesson with David. Great guy. Thanks for getting him on the channel

Hahaha thanks Gary; really enjoyed this one and super glad you did too my friend.
Class Stu. More please. Fascinating getting in the mind of a tour pro and what a great guy.
Thanks buddy, there is going to be plenty more of these! Best wishes Stu
Greetings from West Palm Beach, Fl. Loved the insight from a well traveled tour vet. Tremendous interview/lesson, well done.
Bless you Steve, thank you so much for your very kind feedback!
Highly entertaining video, Stuart. David's enthusiasm for the game is fantastic to see and made me want to go out and play.
Lovely feedback John, hope you’re well my friend. Best wishes Stu

Thanks Neil, nice to break up the content a white with some tour pro magic! ✨
I have met and been lucky enough to play a round with David. What a genuinely nice guy and a hell of a golfer. How he is on here and tv is exactly as in person.

Will do Paul! Thanks for watching my friend.
Would love a lesson. Thanks for the content. Keep it coming!
Thanks Dave, will be sure to do exactly that!
Amazed he will try something new on the first tee. Thought it was only me who did that. So, I'm not as stupid as I thought I was. New swing really worked for me today.
When tournament golds tour norm and a lot of cash up for grabs if you hit lucky with a swing feel it’s worth a go 😂
Great show! Makes me realize I should stop stressing that I hit my irons with a slight left path so much when my shots don't move much offline anymore. (Thanks to your grip video)
Thanks Steve, and great to hear the grip is helping out your bend!
Loved listening to Howeller, followed his fortunes as a Surrey/Weybridge based golfer for many years
Thanks Brian, super happy you enjoyed David's insights.
Really enjoyed the video, and even one of the great English golfers is still learning the game well done stuart
Thanks buddy, hope you’re well.

Thanks Justin! Lovely words and hope you win a lesson on short game with David!
Loving when Pro'S coming back to help where they come from... Keep going!
David is a super generous guy and loves to help.
I would a Skillest session with David to tap into his mental strength, which when under pressure has let me down in competition. I would also love to gain some of his putting knowledge. Currently 4.5 index but my putting is holding me back from going lower
Hey Mark, will pop you in the draw my friend and wish you luck!
Really enjoyed that, great content that was honestly put over by two normal guys
That was a real enjoyable video. Thank you
My pleasure Damian, really pleased you enjoyed.
Great video Stu , underrated player imo and one of the better commentators on sky sports , great insight 😀
Thanks so much David, much appreciated my friend, glad you enjoyed. Best wishes Stu

@@GoodGolfCoaching hi mate when is the winner announced? Cheers
Hey Craig, 1st December :)
I would love a lesson with David as he is an absolute player, eloquent, easy to understand and a total legend.
Fingers crossed for you in the draw Dean! Hope you enjoyed. 😊
Great guest Stu and top content 👌🏼
Thanks Dean!
I was at the US open at congressional when Rory won, walking off the 10th tee, David H heard me speaking and gave me the ‘bloody Brits’ smile😂 great guy👍
He’s a cracking guy Andy. 😊
Would hope David could teach me how to improve..I had a chat with him on first T In Portugal (off the cuff chat ) thought I could learn a lot from him
He has so much insight Dave, im sure you could.
David Howell, what a lovely man, lovely personality, lovely stories. When he tells you the story, of the time he wins a tournament with a single swing thought and that swing thought never works again in his career, you do have to wonder what makes a good golfer is it just God-given talent!!!
Nicely put John, makes everyone feel a little bit better about the game doesn't it. Best wishes Stu
I would really benefit from skillest lessons. If I could actually apply them. I find that what I feel I’m doing is often not what I’m actually doing.
Hope you win the lesson Joshua, good luck!
Not much left for me to accomplish in my small world of golf, but I would rather like to play to my age....80 next year.
Where there is a will there is a way.. Keep at it!
@@GoodGolfCoaching Don't write off all of us oldies, we're not all decrepit !🙂.
I’m don’t think I did! 😊
Stu, you should be on Saturday night on tv!
Haha not sure the world is quite ready for that, but one day maybe 😂😂
Let’s spin the wheel !
Do it!
# Sorry!!! I have early dementia… Stuart . Not. Andrew!👍🏻
Hahah all good my friend.
Here we go…
Hope you enjoy it Andy, let me know what you think!
@@GoodGolfCoachingpure gold Stu, he’s a great interviewee as proven by his Sky work….but I hope paid for his lesson? 😂
