I disagree that the daily wire and DeSantis isn't far right. They are more to the right on lgbt issues than trump ever was. I see there as being 3 camps in the conservative movement. 1) The old conservative party that we still see remininents of in purple states in state wide races. This includes Asa Hutchinson, Mitt Romney and Chris Christy. Even nickii haley would go in this category. They are neocon and support funding for isreal and Ukraine. They were not typically anti lgbt. The second group is the trump Republicans that you call white nationalists. They are against funding the current wars we are in but not because they are anti war. It's because they are pro putin and anti any religion that isn't Christianity. Then there is the DeSantis contingent that went hard on the anti lgbt anti woke narrative. Here's something I've noticed. I believe in the last video about this topic, kavernacle explained how the conservatives glorify the past. Now, usually, when they do this (at least in America), it's with the 1950s. But Here's the funny thing about that, anything positive you could mention about the 50s (like better union laws) are never brought up.
