Marchosias is a demon wolf with a serpent tail and wings of a gryphon, he's a marquis of the underworld.

I’d definitely wanna bash this with Lupus Rex. Tighten up the joints and find a way to incorporate both the wings AND tail and you’d have a monster of a gunpla.

For when mecha said he doesn’t like poly cap builds as much as full plastic ones, the reason why Bael loosened up so much is because that’s plastic rubbing against plastic, tight at first, but over time it grinds away at its self and you get loose parts, tightening is a fix though I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent
That only happens because it's the old soft PS plastic. PS nowadays is better and tighter now

My HG Bael still holds up pretty well. Probably because he's stuck on a base holding the same pose for over a year now. lol
My 12 HG IBO Gundams are all fine as well
The only problem Bael kits is a bit disappointing, too much white and the panel line is weird as well. I wish Bael look as good as this kit.
That would definitely help! Also the polycaps used in IBO kits are notoriously bad for quality control. The runner itself was covered in flash.

The numbers of all Gundam Frames from IBO is rivaling the numbers of all named Gundams from G Gundam. Releasing them all would be crazy, even crazier than 36 HG Maganacs XD.

@@philipsab.mp4 To do so, Bandai also need to pay mecha designer(s) to draw all the remaining 50-or-so Gundam Frames which haven't been revealed yet. Then they need to convert those drawing to molds. That's a lot of money for making kits of obscure mechas.

if you cut the joint parts from the runner, do not 'clean' it, let a LITTLE bit part of runner attached to that part, so it will be tighter the joint

@@tydshiin5783 not just polycaps, the 'joint' part. for example, ball joint on the shoulder, even if it use polycaps, the ball joint part is from the normal runner (mostly)
What if you paint it with a few layers of enamel? It could beef the joints a little and stick better.

Probably going to give us the Hajiroboshi closer to the game's release. Theres no way they're not doing a kit of it, I think.

Still looks like a fun build. Definitely gonna enjoy this kit right here.
The poses I could pull off with those sub arms would be amazing. Definitely looks like a badass "death by a thousand knives" MS. Probably gonna pose this to look like it's leaping and about to bring all its knives and sword down to stab at one spot.
Sounds like overkill to use all your melee weaponry just for one spot.

Im willing to bet that the Hajiroboshi was meant to be released in 2018/2019, but due to the app being delayed for some reason they held off on it. Then in the meantime they decided marchosias would be a good release before the former
I have the HG Kimaris Vidar and HG Bael. I like IBO 144 scaled kits because in my opinion, they are easy to build and customize. Their inner-frame is a plus as well. I prefer MG because it is bigger and more detailed. MG Barbatos was AWESOME!
So I may have not listened and made this my first ever Gunpla kit and let me just say that I really appreciate the left over shoulder pieces on the gundam frame runner which makes a kind of Marchosias Repair Version. The side skirt balljoint to 3mm hole part kind of leads the imagination to some custom ideas and i cant wait to just deck out this bad boy in the future
This thing looks like the mobile armor and reborns gundam combined with some barbatos In With it

Going through your older IBO reviews has led me to tracking down three models in the last few months, well worth it, thank you.
This suit demonstrates the reason I love the suits in ibo they are simple no extra junk to make them look big and this throws that away it looks like it belongs in a differnt anime
Mind you this is the same gundam that made a mobile armor have PTSD and mental trauma
I built this one and this kit didnt have any lose joint issue, its a good and nice solid kit

Wow that's awesome I didn't notice the actual color of the gunplay until you mentioned it wasn't being picked up by the camera but once you said that I noticed it pretty well! looks neat!! 👍

Yeah I was afraid this one couldn't deliver. It just looked like too much on a basic Gundam Frame. Might be a fun project to improve upon though.

Love these ibo kits but jesus designers. Chill with the bulk! You can never pose these kits without 20 different things falling off or clashing into each other.
100% agree. That frame works so well on Barbie, Flauros and Astaroth. Then gets a bit hairy with baal and gusion. This is a bit silly

Mecha Gaikotsu and to a certain extent, the Kimaris Trooper, since the bulk is on the lower side, so it’s not really much of an issue anyway.

probably funny if they released a new improved inner frame for the HG IBO Gundams sold separately without the armor in order to try solve the issues of the original inner frames, especially the shoulder swivels that tends to pop-off easily.

You can easily replace those red stickers with a red gundam marker though, so it's not really an issue for me
If you're an intermediate builder, none of that will be a problem. Painting it & a little cement/glue will fix the issues quickly. And painting red on top of white/grey surgace is not even hard.

I must have been lucky. I got my marchosias a little over a year ago and out of the box it was as solid as an action figure. It's still solid now (though I don't do much posing, I find an action pose that I like and keep it there

Bruh we have MG ibo. It takes alot of money ($1000+) to create the molds for any new kit. MG barbie was already a risk.

I ordered this the other day, after watching this I think I may use it to practice seam line removal, scribing, and airbrushing on.

So basically Marchosias took the L during the Calamity War unlike Bael, Barbatos, etc
Aside from the ones kept by the galljheron( I can never spell that) family’s, I always imagined the ones that got left behind, buried, scrapped, and tossed around between common folk were frames that took the L during the war and were disregarded for the stronger ones. So wouldn’t that mean Barbatos, or who ever piloted it, was too weak to be given any attention post war?
@@momosbizzareadventure6242 Barbatos was repaired after the war (only slightly based on what we see from the 1st form) but I think simply put they didn't care for him, causing Barbatos to be sold off based on his backstory. They only kept units like Bael or Vidar, because Bael was important to the family, and Vidar was probably the one they kept as backup
@@NoNameDaGuy it’s such a crime that we still haven’t gotten a calamity war era series that would answer the questions and shed light on how the gundams operated during their prime. Also it seems like other powerful galerijhorn family’s kept their demon Gundam over the years, like Dantelion from IBO gekko. I also got the impression from the second season that deffintly some demon gundams were far superior then others. With the fact that Galerijhorns entire system of governing would automatically be overruled just by who Bael lets pilot it, and how hyped up Bael was- it seems like Bael may have been the strongest, and the one to end the calamity war. May in a calamity war series the MC would pilot Bael.
Good thing all gundam frame design issues had been acknowledge on the mastergrade gundam frame. Exited here for the rest of the mg gundam frames, including Marchosias.

There was concept art for the barbatos that may make it seem like from the calamity war era.
It really looked like the exia, and had a hidden beam saber on its arm.
the 4th one which is re created by teiwas is the calamity war version.

Still want a RG Gundam frame that includes optional Armor kits for the other gundam forms. (Remember all 72 share the same basic frame just modified/customized slightly.)
The app was originally planned to be a second anime/OVA/ONA or manga series then was modified into a Game. The MS from the series had been designed before then though. Also Marchosias was apparently intended to be the original Gusion or its upgrade according to one comment.

Jac Colbert I’m with you there. I wasn’t a huge fan of IBO’s slim gundam frames, but after watching the series for myself and watching Mecha’s reviews on the IBO kits I started to like them more and even want to make some customs of my own.

androyus god that still bugs me and I finished ibo years ago.
About the shoulder issue where it gets separated by continuous up and down, you just need to reverse the connection(dont follow the manual) so the shoulder armor holder will block the part that tends to get off, there problem solved

What a delusion to watch this review. I was so excited to know the features, the characteristics of this model kit that looked so cool but now I am terribly disappointed.
I thought Bandai could do a lot better with this kit, above all thinking about what they are planning to do and what they made with the RG line and not only.
Marchosias design is awesome but its building quality looks really bad.
I want to clear that I'm not disappointed by your point of view that is honest and clear in every single part of the video, I am disappointed by Bandai.

I've seen a japanese post on twitter that this should have been the upgrade of barbatos lupus when it defeated hasmal so that's why it has a similar color scheme of hashmal, so maybe that's the reason why the runners have written year "2018" but perhaps sunrise has decided to change the story in very last moment and bandai has already made the gunpla

I have all retail IBO HGs so naturally i'll get this kit but he can wait for the time being.
Best remedy for loose joints? Apply a thin coat of super glue to make it a bit stiff but enough to hold on or stand well! But dont put the part in after applying the superglue coat, let it dry first then place the part.

this kit looks great id just replace the ball joint hips and throw on an HG Barbatos or lupus backpack unit to give it something on the back those wings look cool but man I wish they put a lot of thought into the IBO frames, it's my favorite line but dang it sucks how they loosen up.

So I keep hearing "tighten up the joints" and I own a HG Flauros and keep having issues with the waist popping out, do I just paint it with my gundam marker and let it dry and then pop in back on and that's it?
Buy cheap clear nail polish at the drug store. Apply a thin layer of it on the areas where the polycaps are supposed to come in contact with. Ideally, let the nail polish dry for a couple of hours before snapping the pieces back together, otherwise you run the risk of dislodging the nail polish and needing to reapply it again. If it's still loose, apply another coat and wait again. Once the joint starts becoming loose again (after you pose it too much), just redo the process all over again.

Maybe it’s too late to say this but Marchocias’s backpack sub arm has a clip thing so that it won’t fall easy that’s all I noticed if you don’t get it look at the sub arms ball joint there’s a gap

I hav dis thing well about week ago. I have a lot of problems, it joints made by plastic in torso is broke so i decide 2 glue wit dextone. Even a below wing broke 2.
I had the same issue with my bael but the barbatos lupus hg still holds up to date but I wish that marchiosas won't end up like the bael its a pretty good looking kit
