    The Kick that came with my Queen EXL Murphy bed is significantly wider (4.25”). Why? Also, how should the L bracket be attached to it? Centered? Then where should it be attached to the side panels? Nothing in my Elite Aluminum Vertical manual describes how to deal with this wider Kick.

      Wish they had responded to this comment. I have the same question. It is not clear in the video or instructions.

      @@burtn6 Through my building of the cabinet, I discovered that the key is that the kick just needs to be as close to the floor as possible, either flush, or if on carpet, leaving less than a quarter inch of space (preferably just an eighth). As it is, in my case, once fully assembled, lowering and raising the mattress frame does cause the head of the mattress frame to rub a bit on the kick, so getting the kick as low as possible is critical.
