At the end of the year, I'm wondering whether to buy a Neo 16 i9-14900hx or a Legion 5 Pro r9-7945hx, both from 2024, RTX 4060 card. My needs are to study and work on construction software such as Autocad, Plaxis 2D, Revit,... I don't care much about the battery and touchpad because I always bring a mouse and charger when I go out. If I forget to charge, I can set the battery saving mode to use it for 2 hours to reach the goal. The keyboard is enough to take out or when I go to school to study and reply to messenger. The build quality as well as the cooling fan of the machine are the things I care about because the game I play is only fc online and the operating frequency will be from 4-6 hours if used a lot. I don't know which of the above 2 options will be more suitable for me. I also read the comparison article and found that le5pro can limit power consumption like neo 16 to keep the laptop cooler I see many people saying that Intel will run better than AMD in terms of software build, Legion 5 Pro has better build quality and Neo 16 is just in Legion 5 segment when compared to Le5Pro
