What a wonderful tea and rust video. The tea acts as a mordant and sets the rust so it's all permanent. TIP: To not be limited by drying space, I spread a reusable shower curtain on the table and another (or more) on the floor and can lay out as many as I want. And the shower curtain folds up to be reused another day. This works for lots of wet paper and fabric dying techniques. And other messy things! Thanks for a gread tutorial. I love that you place tissue paper towels under the wet papers (to protect your floor) because they get stained too, nice bonus!
Thank you so much for commenting. What a great idea, the shower curtain, protects the floor even better. I also use the kitchen towel for soaking up the moisture, so it dries quicker, mmm little impatient. 😉
Beatiful!!!!❤❤❤❤😅
Thanks Thomina! 🤗
this is soo much fun! the results are fabulous! tfs!😊
Thank you. Yes It is fun and a great opportunity to explore and experiment.
Lovely results! How many layers do you usually stack?
Thanks 😊. Here I stacked 15 papers, thats about average. Smaller batches will give more variety. Especially if you vary in the strength of tea and different use of colors.
