- This video is the first in a 10 part series on how to fly the modern gyroplane, using the Magni M-16 as our training platform. This first video introduces the student to the gyroplane by discussing a thorough preflight inspection.

Darn... I thought I'd just struck gold here with a 10-part series! Keep them coming!
we're waiting for lesson #2 😇
Great Video! Thanks!
Now is time for the next lessons.
Dayton I just watched the whole thing and despite the fact that I do that pre-flight every week, I still learned a couple of things. Nice job.
Thank you, Paul. I am glad that it was informative. There will be more to come!
Dayton, it was great meeting you the other day at KEZZ. Hope you had a safe trip to CA and it wasn't too cold in the mountains! This is a great video, looking forward to additions to this series.
Super presentation, I met Dayton in person last weekend for my demo flight. He was awesome. I was able to witness the pre flight inspection in person. It was just like watching this video. Being a retired police official I appreciate is attention to detail. The demo flight was just incredible. I will be taking all my flight instruction from him in the future. Great job Dayton.
I am a former police officer/chief and now a judge. Dayton is great.
Excellent video, very thorough and very professional.
Thank you, John. I greatly appreciate it!
Very well done! Looking forward to more as a complement to my new Magni M24 and the training I received from Greg Gremminger.
Thank you, Tom. I am excited to hear about your adventures in your new M-24!

For a discovery flight, what is the max passenger weight allowed for someone 6’4” tall.
10 part series .. only one video .. shame too as this was clear, concise and informative. any plans to finish the other 9 videos ?
Hi, Zebitty. Thank you for the question and for subscribing. I am currently assembling an entire animated ground school for my students to get through the FAA knowledge exam, and then the plan is to finish the flight training videos. The remaining 9 videos will be released, but it will take a bit as I have to get all of my projects in line. I sincerely appreciate the compliments on video 1.
I was with you till you said you need sufficient tread for the flight?
Very interesting, but what happened?, why was there no further video's? I was hoping for some more interesting informative demonstrations.
Eezee, Thank you for commenting. More videos are still to come. I got busy with flying consistently, but hopefully will have some new videos in the coming months.
Thanks. This is an excellent video. I'm looking forward to your future videos. There are a lot of gyroplane videos on youtube but most of them just show people flying. That's great but we need more instructional content. You have a talent for making such videos. I'm sure your channel will become quite popular.
I see part 1 preflight inspection but I dont see any links to part 2 -10. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Bob, 2 - 10 will be coming. They are just taking a while to produce. I am sorry to leave you waiting, but hopefully we will have them up before too much longer. Thank you for your interest.
Dayton Dabbs Dear Dayton, Did you ever see anymore preflight inspections. Thank’s Don Powell, Tyler, Texas.
Hey, nice yellow gyro. Where can I fly that...? :-)
I know just the guy for you to talk to. :-)

Obrigado!
