The umps are trying to upstage the players. They suspended Miles Mikolas after he hit a batter on the ass for injuring Contreras. The batter took it, and walked to first. They're making it a circus. Let the players police eachother. We don't need a circus, or an upshowing. They can't handle being called out.
An easy fix to the increasing violence in MLB is to award a batter hit by a pitch two bases, instead of one, and award a batter hit in the head four bases and the pitcher suspended without pay for 20 games.
This is part of the reason why baseball is declining in popularity. They need to get umpires who aren't capable of changing the outcome of a game based on their feelings being hurt. They have too much power.
Most of the ejection were very well deserved. You can’t argue balls, and strikes, to any extent. You can’t throw your equipment, if you throw your helmet/bat and that’s a warning and a fine if you throw a second object then you get ejected. And the reason managers get ejected from the game is because you can’t come from the dugout to argue.
Why the hell doesn’t MLB just use technology for balls and strikes? It would get rid of the poor quality umpiring.

You should or get some sort of leeway… because those calls by the umpires were flat out awful 😡
