I met Chris in Jazz Improv class at San Jose City College 1978. Even back then at 24 years old, he had mastered the styles of most of the greats. He blew minds every time he played. The Cullins kid held his own following and trading licks with Chris. Kudos.

Chris...jeeze. Such an original style. Dashes of really familiar quotes here and there. But then the runs and bends go into other unexpected places that are so fresh. Hats off to Anthony for hanging with him and being able to hold his own. They have complimentary styles and nice how Chris' rhythm playing so interestingly chats with Anthony during his solo. Chris has fully perfected the little 2 note chord scale movements to an art form that really makes his rhythm playing stand out in a crowd. Cool clip.

I use a good audio recorder (zoom H5) There's nothing I can do about the venue's sound system. If you don't like it, go to the shows and record them yourself.
@@1AnitrasDance your claim of 1080 is a quality pic and I have an old zoom H4n on moth balls,,I wasn't trying to offend you but maybe different room placement .could you get a line out from mixer and blend best of both worlds? Better quality means more views.. also payback from you tube .
