I have fear of hostile mobs when I'm playing alone. When I play with my friends or my cousin, I'm like "these bitches need some help", And roam around in the night without any fear. Once I got lost in a desert while playing with my cousin and I didn't have a compass. I managed to find my way without a bit of fear. On the other hand when I get lost in a desert while playing alone, I feel like I'm in some nightmare.
@@CaitlinJohnson-v8b omg I relate to this so much. When I was little I had REALLY bad anxiety and was terrified of hostile mobs. Now, I'm a lot better, but whenever I play I still hear that little girl inside of me freaking out.
@@CaitlinJohnson-v8b I’d recommend experiencing more games playing alone. Like not always asking someone to play with you, and eventually you’ll get the hang of it that’s how I did it any way. (Oh and if you didn’t know turn off the cave sounds bc IK when your in the caves and you hear the ambient sounds it’s scary.)

It’s not the fear of hostile mob but the fear of being alone, years ago I used to be fearless but after seeing some herobrine story, I start to panic, anxious when alone in a cave
So in essence what I need to do when a creeper is about to explode is, turn my back on him and begin to severely and continually tweark to assert dominance.

This might help if your going in caves at night or going out when it's night for some reason put your items in a chest or barrel so you won't lose your items. Then just bring a axe, iron pickaxe or any picaxe.
What I usually do is leave my stuff at my house and then I craft a new sword and new pickaxe so that I don’t lose my stuff if I die in lava or something!
This video really helped! And it took my 8 freaking years to overcome that fear of a skeleton ,witch ,zombie etc. I literally looked this up while playing my smp and heard a witch lol
im not actually that scared of hostile mobs, the passive ones scare me the most, just watching me... creepy.. i kill them but i still feel like they are there, watching until I made a sheep farm and mass murdered every single sheep there. now i fear hostile mobs, im gonna twerk on ever creeper throwing them my valuables while doing everything in the video. should fix that :P

I ahve been playing for 3 years and I still stay away 50 blocks for the caves. When i hear a zombie that is not even there I scream and might quit the game :D
I'll try this out, i really am scared of many mobs, but the thing is that axes break kinda easily, gonna try this out :D EDIT 1: I survived a night and it was kinda easy with an iron axe and I became better at PVP and doing crits and I feel more confident but I still need some more THIS WAS HELPFUL!

Honestly, so little people know this video. And at least over half of Minecraft players have a fear of hostile mobs! Thank you for putting the time and effort into this video and providing us with a skill that we may have never known without your help.
I absolutely hate it when my mind just goes “hold up, wait a minute. Something aint right” mid game and convince myself to leave the game when in reality there is nothing worth to fear in this game. But i just get so nervous whenever i take a step inside a stupid cave, its on a psychological level at this point.
It’s nice to see that I am not the only one afraid of hostile mobs. I like playing Minecraft and want to dive deeper into it but my anxiety prevents me from doing so. I’ve had anxiety since I was young, but watching scary movies and watching others play scary games doesn’t scare me. I’m just afraid of being alone I guess 😅
The Endermen have ALWAYS scared me, mainly because of how they can teleport anywhere, and there’s been times where I hear the teleport sound in my house, and I’m scared to look behind me, because the second I accidentally look at their eyes, it’s over.
I have had minecraft since 2018 and I am always scared of mobs, so I always stopped playing minecraft for a large amount of time and then returned hoping I wouldn't get scared, and yet here I am watching this video out of desperation
I've been playing Minecraft for 7 years and I've had the combat book for much longer. I'm still scared of mobs in survival. EDIT: More specifically, it started as a fear of Minecraft Spiders, then it grew into a fear of Endermen as well. I can't really enjoy Minecraft survival without a friend, which doesn't always happen. But hey. It could be worse lol. I don't find cave sounds terrifying or anxiety inducing.

Usually comforting videos will literally make me puke...But this video was to help fear and fight back as if it's a different way of saying " Get used to the environment " Steve giving comfort and encouragement gives me a different feeling and the music just makes it warmer(?) No not simping for a Minecraft character obviously.. But when I was younger I had no fear and was so eager to the mobs and gave em A big BONK on the head but where did all that go? I just had the scariest experience in a video game ever. IN MINECRAFT. I don't know why I'm so scared of them, but I honestly think that zombie will haunt me forever. When you said mob sounds are the only scary thing in minecraft I totally agreed. I was in a cave today and when I saw a few creepers i killed them really easily then I heard a zombie and I was like "Ya maybe I should go back to base."
Thanks so much, I followed this video and It seems to be working really well. I was always scared of mobs since I started playing Minecraft about 3 or 2 years ago, I've watched many many minecraft survival videos since about 2017 and when I got the game I was so excited to start playing but, I was too scared of the mobs so I set it on peaceful all the time. I made a decent world in peaceful, but it was boring. I quit minecraft for a while and then I found this video today. I tried out the tips, I feel much more confident. The only thing im insecure about is that I won't be able to get a bed in time to get my spawn point, or i'll go too far and loose my stuff if I die. Although, I love Minecraft and I'm ready to try overcome my fear of mobs. Thanks so much (this was so long omg)
i think you could bring a bed with you whenever you go on long adventures. that's what i do incase i don't make it back to my house aka one of the villager's houses i'm squatting in. that way i sleep through the night and also set a new spawn point incase i die i can go right back to get my stuff

I used to be scared of Ghasts but not anymore, it’s just the noises that creep me out. There is only one mob now that I fear, but I don’t see this being very common, and that’s Silverfish. I’ve noticed one person comment that there is that feeling they could appear anywhere and honestly, I can relate, it’s so true. 😭 You have Endermites being similar, but they’re not long and don’t slither as strange as them. I remember playing realms, and random mobs spawned out of nowhere (since some realm mod was put on), and I hear a weird hissing noise outside my base. I go up the ladder to the outside part of my base, then I see a silverfish slithering across the area, but doesn’t go after me because I’m not in my detection range. I run outside and quit the game, asking for someone to take care of it for me. 😂 I even avoid beating the Ender Dragon simply because of the strongholds and the fact silverfish are usually there.
I just lose all my confidence if I see that I have like a wooden/stone stone whenever a job comes along. If I had like a diamond sword I could never be scared

This is so wierd and interesting at the same time. I have a huge fear of hostile mobs, and don't know why. I'm trying to overcome it. But I realized, that I can easily play with mobs on a multiplayer. I'm just not that afraid of them when there is a friend with me in the cave, although it has no actual effect - it's just in my head.

i've been playing minecraft since there were only red beds and i'm terrified of mobs. i'm hyperventilating just at the thought of spending the night on normal mode. i think the worst part is the spiders. i have arachnophobia and i just cannot deal with looking at them or anything
the fear is present even in creative 🤒. Or when i know for sure there's literally just squids and fish in the water, i still get super anxious when i go under there. I dont get scared by the mobs in particular, im scared of not seeing them actually. Kinda like expecting a jumpscare to come out anytime i go mining
Ever since i was a child endermen freak me out i just get shivers whenever i hear one and cant stand the sight of them. Also spiders would scare me shitless but not anymore
my least fav mobs are skeletons and spiders… i do like zombies though since I feel so powerful but I’m trying to gain confidence so I can win against any mob
Tysm I was so scared before I couldn't even go in a cave before I had to go in my shelter before nighttime to feel safe I was always so scared of mobs but this helped me alot
i'll try this out later, i've had minecraft since 2015. well not the java version but the bedrock version. the problem is even though i had an early start in minecraft i never really did survival gameplays, all i did was go on servers and play with everybody else. if i ever tried to do a survival, i would quit the first night cuz it makes me so anxious to know that i'm alone, on 2021 i finally got java and i wanna regain my self lmao i wanna make a survival world so bad and actually build stuff and not be scared. hopefully i don't get scared anymore after some time practicing getting used to monsters. good luck to everyone else going through the same thing!

Got Minecraft in 2021. Used to play fan games. These actual mobs don’t look scary. Ya, their sounds are and it’s scary when you die and loose your stuff. I would feel good in diamond or at least some armor. I don’t like dying, got to get armor then I will be safe.
I hope this helps you if your scared of losing your items before making a world you go to game rules when starting to do it and scroll down you will see "Keep inventory after death" and put it to on now even if you die you will still have your stuff with u

And if you’re scared of the cave sounds just go to settings reduce the ambient/cave volume if u turn it to 0% the cave/ambient sound is gone!

@@fourtyfoursky7911 build a 3 by 3 two high platform. Endermen are too tall to fit in such spaces and can't touch you.
Press F5 and get the coordinates(cuz) of you while in your base, and if you get lost, go to those coordinates.

When i'm at a cave, my brain is always thinking there is a ghost/monster that is not from minecraft that's trying to jumpscare me

Finally people who feel my pain the only way I've ever been able to overcome mobs temporarily was of I'm playing with friends in a voice chat

Thanks so much, I followed this video and It seems to be working really well. I was always scared of mobs since I started playing Minecraft about 3 or 2 years ago, I've watched many many minecraft survival videos since about 2017 and when I got the game I was so excited to start playing but, I was too scared of the mobs so I set it on peaceful all the time. I made a decent world in peaceful, but it was boring. I quit minecraft for a while and then I found this video today. I tried out the tips, I feel much more confident. The only thing im insecure about is that I won't be able to get a bed in time to get my spawn point, or i'll go too far and loose my stuff if I die. Although, I love Minecraft and I'm ready to try overcome my fear of mobs. Thanks so much (this was so long omg)
i think you could bring a bed with you whenever you go on long adventures. that's what i do incase i don't make it back to my house aka one of the villager's houses i'm squatting in. that way i sleep through the night and also set a new spawn point incase i die i can go right back to get my stuff

I used to be scared of Ghasts but not anymore, it’s just the noises that creep me out. There is only one mob now that I fear, but I don’t see this being very common, and that’s Silverfish. I’ve noticed one person comment that there is that feeling they could appear anywhere and honestly, I can relate, it’s so true. 😭 You have Endermites being similar, but they’re not long and don’t slither as strange as them.
I remember playing realms, and random mobs spawned out of nowhere (since some realm mod was put on), and I hear a weird hissing noise outside my base. I go up the ladder to the outside part of my base, then I see a silverfish slithering across the area, but doesn’t go after me because I’m not in my detection range. I run outside and quit the game, asking for someone to take care of it for me. 😂
I even avoid beating the Ender Dragon simply because of the strongholds and the fact silverfish are usually there.
I just lose all my confidence if I see that I have like a wooden/stone stone whenever a job comes along. If I had like a diamond sword I could never be scared
Honestly, a stone axe is a very good beginner weapon.

This is so wierd and interesting at the same time. I have a huge fear of hostile mobs, and don't know why. I'm trying to overcome it. But I realized, that I can easily play with mobs on a multiplayer. I'm just not that afraid of them when there is a friend with me in the cave, although it has no actual effect - it's just in my head.
I’ve been playing on peaceful(and creative before that) for almost 5 or 6 years… I’ve had the game for 8 but I still can’t deal with the mobs… this looks like it gonna work tho! Thank you so much

The thing that scares me the most when playing on an easy world is the spooky cave sounds, I've been play minecraft for years and I haven't gotten over it

i've been playing minecraft since there were only red beds and i'm terrified of mobs. i'm hyperventilating just at the thought of spending the night on normal mode. i think the worst part is the spiders. i have arachnophobia and i just cannot deal with looking at them or anything
the fear is present even in creative 🤒. Or when i know for sure there's literally just squids and fish in the water, i still get super anxious when i go under there. I dont get scared by the mobs in particular, im scared of not seeing them actually. Kinda like expecting a jumpscare to come out anytime i go mining
Ever since i was a child endermen freak me out i just get shivers whenever i hear one and cant stand the sight of them. Also spiders would scare me shitless but not anymore
my least fav mobs are skeletons and spiders… i do like zombies though since I feel so powerful but I’m trying to gain confidence so I can win against any mob

Tysm I was so scared before I couldn't even go in a cave before I had to go in my shelter before nighttime to feel safe I was always so scared of mobs but this helped me alot
One thing you can also do is use cute pastel like texture packs that helps a lottt

i'll try this out later, i've had minecraft since 2015. well not the java version but the bedrock version. the problem is even though i had an early start in minecraft i never really did survival gameplays, all i did was go on servers and play with everybody else. if i ever tried to do a survival, i would quit the first night cuz it makes me so anxious to know that i'm alone, on 2021 i finally got java and i wanna regain my self lmao i wanna make a survival world so bad and actually build stuff and not be scared. hopefully i don't get scared anymore after some time practicing getting used to monsters. good luck to everyone else going through the same thing!
The main reason is the creepypasta stories we watch and get afraid.

Ya, their sounds are and it’s scary when you die and loose your stuff.
I would feel good in diamond or at least some armor.
I don’t like dying, got to get armor then I will be safe.
I hope this helps you if your scared of losing your items before making a world you go to game rules when starting to do it and scroll down you will see "Keep inventory after death" and put it to on now even if you die you will still have your stuff with u
