Warped fungus doesn't always work. Sometimes the hoglins just ignore it.
Source: I live in a crimson forest.
They ignore it when u have already hit them yourself. If there has been no interaction between u and the hoglin until u place down the fungus, it will work

A funny weakness to piglins i have found was to throw a golden carrot at them, as they will drop what ever weapon they have and try to kill you with the golden carrot

It's because Endermen are neutral, they only attack you when you look at their head
But he had skeletons which are not nether exclusive

I remember when Magma Cubes weren't all that threatening since their smallest iterations used to not deal any damage, but since they were updated so that the smallest ones can actually damage you, they can actually be pretty dangerous in numbers. What I do is kill the first iteration with my sword, then use a Multishot and Quick charge crossbow as crowd control for the lower hp iterations. The crossbow is very effective at dealing with big groups of 2nd and 3rd iteration magma cubes as each crossbow bolt 1 shots them, and with Multishot can kill 3 cubes per shot, which you can spam with quick charge. After you greatly thin their numbers it should be safe to simply whack the remaining stragglers with your sword as they'll die in one hit.

- shields will block blaze fireballs
Mate shields will block literally anything. Flip if you blow up a nuke with mods u can literally hold right click

Another important tip for the blaze:
They actually have a melee attack, don't get too close try to keep a little distance

My favorite way to deal with a gast is a bow and arrow. They're actually relatively weak against a good power 3-4 shot.
i mean, the high ground fits so well, you are in a place where there's tons of lava, (i forgot the name of the planet that they fighted on in star wars) and you can get knocked into the lava very easily.

good timing - just started to tackle the nether fortress in my hardcore world. still 1.15, but the tips for the wither skeletons and the blazes are still great

Another thing about the blazes is that they have a pattern for attacking. Unlike other mobs where they can just attack whenever they're near you, Blazes have a specific burst of three fireballs, and then a cool down. If you wait for the blaze to shoot all three fireballs, you can almost immediately take them out with an axe or good sword

Noticed some odd editing, are you playing in ultrawide? If y'are, consider rendering the video in ultrawide too! It's becoming more popular, and I don't think many 16:9 users would mind the cinematic black bars.
Alternatively, if you think ultrawide tolerance is a bit of a _stretch,_ simply scoot the footage a little to the left next time to keep the crosshair in line with the center of the screen.
The approach you've gone with here is honestly a little confusing.
Ibxtoycat has now faze sway for duo partner and teaching you highground retakes(height is the weakness of hoglins)

Skeletons, blazes and ghasts you can also use a shield is super cheap is such an efficient way to protect you, and if you are agile enough also everything else (like you hitting exactly when the mob is recharging and they attack when you have your shield protecting you) but magma cubes when they're split the shield is basically useless

On my main survival world nether seed is on an island in a lava lake, which is bordered by every nether biome except the crimson forest. My first adventures there were UTTER CHAOS(a lot of ghasts came over from the soul sand valley). Although I’ve made big changes to fix it now.
Here's the secret ACTUAL weaknesses toycat just wanted to keep to himself...
Piglins: building a TNT dublicator above them
Blazes: water
Ghasts: dying
Hoglins: falling in the void
Wither skeletons: falling anvils
Skeletons: having them accidentally shoot a polar bear
Magma cube: cactus

Idk if it still works or if it just works on PS4, but when you are building straight forward in the air, you don't have to lean on the edge to put a block next to the one you are trying to build from, you can just place the block in front of the one you are standing on in the air as long as you don't have any blocks in front of you that prompts you to put the block on it. It's something I learned when I was using the scaffolds and it impressed me, then I tried doing it with every other block and it works. That way you don't have to risk yourself falling off the edge of a block you are trying to build from, you can just place it right in front of it as long as you're pointing in the air in front of the block.

Strange that you didn't mention warped fungus for repelling hoglins OR soul fire/lantern/campfire/torch for repelling piglins. I mentioned soul torches so many times before, it's an amazing trick!

In conclusion:
Hoglims: Get the high ground and hit them from there, or place blocks/pillars in their way.
Baby hoglims: They're babies, have some mercy, jeez. Just hit them once and let 'em run free.
Piglims: GIVE. ME. MY. GOLD. BACK. (wear gold armour or yeet gold at them or just make hoglims go rampage on them.)
Blazes: Find something to dodge behind as it throws fireballs at you or just charge in straight (preferably with fire resistance)
Wither Skeleton: Block up a hallway (2 blocks high) and kill it at your own pace. (and drink milk, it'll help you grow. literally.)
Skeleton: Just kill them with a bow and arrow/melee, or the more entertaining method: make them fight each other, grab some cooked porkchops, and sit back and watch the show.
Ghast: It's big, but practically blind. Put a block behind yourself (so you won't fall) and then reflect the fireballs back to the ghast. Or just build glass blocks so that the ghast can't see you, because, again, ghasts are practically blind. (use other materials that don't explode to build like cobblestone)
Magma cube: Avoid at all costs. Give these obnoxiously cute cubes a pat on the head when they jump. Build up and behind you to avoid being knocked down. If you see one, don't even try engaging it if you don't need to.
There, I just saved you 21 minutes.

This sounds like a cowardly answer, but (in Bedrock at least,) turning the gamemode to peaceful isn't considered cheating.

The skeletons biggest weakness is a shield, it only becomes difficult when a ghast enters the equation.
A ghasts biggest weakness is a bow (power I and you can take it out with one hit), however, it becomes difficult when pretty much anything else enters the equation.
Warped fungus is like bug spray but for hoglins, good idea to set a few down in key areas so you don't get any nasty surprises.
Piglins will become hostile if you mine gold or open any sort of container, be wary.
Oh yeah the shield works alright on the blazes too, but make sure you don't get surrounded.
Magma cubes are a joke when you fight them on a flat surface, even more so when you have a roof keeping the big ones away from you.
fun tip for two biggest sizes of magmas:
they actually need to jump on you, so if you put a block over your head, they won’t be able to jump on you, leaving you able to attack them. sometimes though, the magmas do get “stuck” on the block over you, but they just don’t jump off
This one time I was in the nether and I randomly got attacked by a hoglin in a nether fortress, and I spontanusly started singing, "Hakuna Matata". That was funny.
