When he outed himself RC Jr told many lies about his Ashley Madison account, saying he "just visited" when in fact he'd registered for an account. He's still lying about it to this very day. Ligonier rewarded his licentiousness and lying with a paid one-year suspension/vacation. 5 months after "restoring" him came his felony drunk driving arrest (also stoned out of his mind on opioids). After arranging a six-figure "severance package" he resigned. No worries though for RC Jr fans. He's still being paid six-figures as a Ligonier "independent contractor" courtesy of the Ligonier Ministries Sproul Family Gravy Train (see the Spinderella Sproul blog for more).

But then reprobates just have a hard time not continuing down the path of self-destruction (we're not just talking about your average "sins" here). RC Sproul Jr has no authority to pawn himself off as a "Pastor" and "Rev." But that's what he continues doing, and that's the biggest of all his scandals. He needs to step down from the pulpit and get and honest secular day job.
