It’s easy for anybody to watch this video and think that these guys are all just a bunch of works based salvation preachers, but if you’ve listened to these guys prior to this and you know their teachings you’d understand that they are 100% biblical and preach a salvation that is only by grace through faith, but a salvation that inevitably produces works by fruit of the spirit which is, again, 100% biblical.

@13:51 “the duty of the wife to disobey.” I was in a situation like that where it was disobedience to the Word of God, I stood on what the Word says, unmoveable. Later my husband saw why and thanked me for standing my ground (which at the time was very painful). It is utmost importance to follow God - whom I love & fear, than to obey man.
He passed away at 58, after 25 yrs of marriage, some of the best years of my life. I always tried to do what he asked and always had God’s Word to back up what I did.

I heard and watched him since 1972 and still at it in 2020 via the great conferences, etc...tons of good messages, etc at Ligonier.org. I wonder how many take advantage of the several very fine ministries on internet...Alistair Begg, now read by volunteers also is Spurgeon, all the great Puritan books of sermons, Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Wow!

I dont agree. Respectfully he did not take a stand against FV. In fact, he supported his son who advanced the heresy. Secondly, and more importantly, have you read his book Classic Christianity? In this book he says "I begin with man" and not God. He was a supporter and promoter of Thomistic theology. He advance Natural Theology. But he carefully let it out and only if you were paying attention would you catch it. I am sure he was a Christian, but you are just wrong in thinking he preached a pure gospel. However, if I had to pick him or Piper, I would rather stick with Sproul. (please never make me make that choice) Piper is more advanced in his heretical gleaming's. I think he wants to come out of the closet and tell the world he does not believe in the gospel of grace, but wants a Romanst gospel in its place. I know I burst your bubble, but in this day and age we cannot afford to play nice with others who are selling us out. We need more men like Dr. Robert Morey and Dr. John Robbins. Two of the most brilliant defenders of the faith. One Baptist and one Presby. See how balanced I am ?

I agree Kathy Urrely. I know he is rejoicing with the Lord... but I grieved for over a year or more ... his death struck me hard. No one taught as he did because he is a historian of World history/Biblical history... his depth of knowledge in philosophy and science, flooded over by his unlimited wisdom of the Scriptures/Word of God, his messages keep me on the edge of my seat. Then he brings levity to the intensity by being a man of a delightfully, unexpected at times, sense of humor.

When you listen to Pastor Sproul express ideas about the Roman Catholic Church, know that he gently, and respectfully examined the the theology of the Church on several instances, including one long lecture/class/series on the details about The Church which could have served as a catechism class. His critiques are borne out of Love and compassion.I listened to a cassette collection many years ago very carefully, and at best am a Catholic still. who simply excises those issues borne out of reaction formation against Luther.I suspect that there are many more like me

Christian schooling is great!! But it is an option available for for those who can afford it. For those who cant you can home school and if thats not an option long term, home school for the earlier years and prepare them through teaching them the word of God, equip them to be ready once you decide to put them in a public school. You work with the options that you can available to you, but whatever u choose to do the most important things is to teach them about God and the bible and how to rightfully divide the word of truth, to study to show themselves approved and to be ready with the armor of God on so that they can resist the enemy and be kept standing firm after they’ve done so. Eph 6:13

On the question about assurance, Charles Spurgeon has a great quote: “The devil tempts me and says, you are no saint. I say if I am no saint, then I am a sinner, and Christ came to save sinners. Sink or swim, I run to him; other hope, I have none.”

      But you cannot be a sinner while serving Christ, you MUST be righteous in the eyes of the Lord, look at what Jesus said;
Matthew 5:20For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven"
One will not enter the kingdom of heaven without your righteousness surpassing the scribes and Pharisees!
The Scribes and Pharisees were religious groups back then and were not wholly following the commandments.
So one must follow the commandments as a "entry" level and increase in knowledge of scripture to be considered holy before the Lord.
False doctrine...the ten commandments were "nailed to the cross"
This WHOLE world is FULL of false doctrine, as well as this video, this guy Voddie is an excellent orator, good with words and teaches a little truth, but you will NEVER learn (anything of value) from him, as I am just a mere student of The Word, and I can tell you that this guy is a joke, a very dangerous joke for salvation
If you have questions concerning scripture or disagreement I will try to answer (WITH scripture), to show that it is not coming from my mouth, but the mouth of God

@@wordofyah4641 Two things to note, brother.
      1. blood
      2. the rent veil
to these I add a third, a matter of historical record:
      3. the physical temple was destroyed in 70 AD.

    • @wordofyah4641
      @wordofyah4641 3 года назад +1

@@duncescotus2342 Correct brother, but you must take the time to show scripture to back up what you say
Its about having faith in the blood of Jesus instead of the blood of bulls and goats which were required of anyone who had sinned out of ignorance
Leviticus 4: 1Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the LORD in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them, 3if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without blemish as a sin offering.
And you had to kill the animal before the Lord, and the high priest had to take some of the animals blood and sprinkle it seven times
Leviticus 4: 4He shall bring the bull to the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the LORD, lay his hand on the bull’s head, and kill the bull before the LORD. 5Then the anointed priest shall take some of the bull’s blood and bring it to the tabernacle of meeting. 6The priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil of the sanctuary
So a man could possibly develop his OWN righteousness by “paying” for the sins that were committed by him, because bulls or goats had value, so I guess one would feel justified by paying for his sins of an animal that he owned, but it was this sacrifice that was our school master (tutor or guardian) until Jesus came in the flesh, and once Jesus came in the flesh we are no longer under that tutor/guardian/schoolmaster
Galatians 3: 23But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor
Jesus came to do away with the animal sacrifice law that was added because of sin, Jesus WAS that sacrifice
Romans 7: 9I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. 10And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. 11For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. 12Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
      Paul is saying here
Without the law of animal sacrifice he was alive without it, but once the commandments came in, he understood the death sentence that it represented, so here he is saying that the (animal sacrifice) law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good
So when you come under the blood of Jesus you will have to walk in righteousness to be considered a “child of God” and NOT be disobedient
Colossians 3: 5Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
You CANNOT be a child of God and a “willfull” sinner at the same time, the ten commandment are a “entry level”, and one must get baptized in the name of Jesus, pray and study (to understand what sins to avoid) to become righteous

    • @duncescotus2342
      @duncescotus2342 3 года назад

@@wordofyah4641 I certainly agree with you as far as the result of faith and salvation, which is the righteousness which God desires and finds acceptable, and of course I appreciate what you're saying about the law being the tutor and guardian, and truly the Lord did say, "if they will not hear Moses, neither shall they believe if one should be risen from the dead." However, I was taught and it is my belief to this day that the whole of the law, including the Ten Commandments, all priestly regulations, and of course the physical temple itself, were fulfilled in Christ, and while not destroyed exactly, in terms of their legitimacy, as the Lord says, "not one jot or tittle...until all be fulfilled," they cease to be of any merit in terms of righteousness in the new covenant. As Paul states so openly, "Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness..." (Romans 10:4). "End" here could mean cessation, fulfillment, purpose, termination, closing, etc, or any combination of these meanings.
That Paul considers the Ten Commandments to be indistinct from the Law, at least in terms of his argument in Romans is evident from chapter 7, esp. verse 7, when he says, "I would not have know covetousness (or what it means to covet) except the law said not to covet." Early in chapter 7 he makes the argument that the law has ceased due to another marriage having taken place. In effect, the bride of Christ is wed to Christ by reason of the death of God toward his first bride, Israel. How do you understand this argument of death to the law, "the law has authority over someone only if that person is alive." ? Please comment, thanks.

The correct answer to the question of "Why are we condemned for not having faith if we are incapable of such a thing" is not because you are incapable.
    You just don't want to.

You should be a bible christian, the TRUE Word of God and nothing else, but its extremely hard to find a pastor that teaches the true word of God, this guy Voddie is an excellent orator, very good with talking, but he is not teaching anything to the true Word of God that will get you salvation, and by no means am I a teacher, but I'm a student of The Word, and based on this video (and I watched the whole video), the only thing you will get is a trip to the lake of fire, this is equivalent to going to college for a degree and all you are being taught is kindergarten school lessons, totally a waste of time, one gets absolutely NO knowledge out of this!

10:27 If you should preach homosexuality is a sin, then certainly you should also preach that fornication is a sin and that divorce and remarriage is a sin. And here lies the problem, that the church has shunned back from adressing those issues for so long, that the homosexuals can almost rightly come along and say, "hey why should we be worse than those others? Give us the rights to live in sin also"

Agreed. Especially if you look back to what God says in the Old Testament - the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah cannot be ignored, and a true Christian should seek to please God in all things. Only someone who is separated from Christ or in open rebellion can participate in sexual acts outside the sanctity of Godly marriage, between one man and one woman. It is against both natural law and God's law to engage in sodomy. I find it hard to believe that anyone would think God has no real problem with "sexual liberation" - why do people think these days that sex for the sake of lust is such an important thing to encourage? Because the sinful man doesn't understand the things of God, only self-gratification. Which is why Christianity is so hated by the world - and those so-called "churches" who have ignored God's Word and allowed all kinds of deviations must ask themselves: if you are just a social club with "Jesus" branding, what is the point of calling yourself a Christian? Eventually the world will ask that of the lukewarm false churches, and demand they renounce the name of Jesus as well. The Holy Word of God is Truth - and we must worship and obey God, not our sinful flesh or the lies of Satan.

@@alexisp696 I agree that's what RC preaches. Why then did he perform the marriage ceremony for RC Jr and the 3-times divorced Lisa Ringel? This came immediately after RC Jr's Presbytery said they wouldn't countenance such a marriage, that it would be adultery because none of Lisa's divorces had been for biblical causes. Rather than submitting to his Presbytery RC Jr demitted his ordination and married Lisa anyway. I've always had a lot of respect for RC Sproul, but it always troubles me when bible teachers won't practice what they preach.

Isaiah 53:5, he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed.
For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.
Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. If you believe in this message, help spread it in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you!

When the bible speaks on baptism, its not a means of salvation. Repentance and faith is all it takes. Romans 10:9 says confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, and thou shalt be saved. Baptism is because you're saved already, not to be saved. When it says born of Water, that means the Word or Jesus. The thief on the cross never got baptized with physical water, but his faith in Christ saved him from damnation. Jesus said, "this day shall you be with me in paradise." Repentance and faith saves, baptism gives one the filling of the Holy Ghost. If someone's baptized, that doesn't make them saved. You can get baptized and still not believe in Jesus. Baptism is only for the people who are saved. NOT to become saved.

@@randellwatkins475 I can tell you never obeyed Acts 2:38 and don't really understand the bible. You have been listening to those who think they know the Bible without the Holy Ghost. How can one be saved in their sins? The man on the cross lived under a different age. There was no church at that time. Why people just can't read and obey like all the others? People like to jump to the book of Romans passing the book of Acts where the church got started. First, you have to understand the gospels were written to show us how Christ died on the cross for our sins. The book of Acts shows us how the church got started, Acts 2:38, and how to enter the church. The letters were written to the church to show us how to behave now that we are in the church. The letters were not written directly to the world. Read the beginning of the letters to see who they were written to. One has to understand and believe the work of the gospel. Then has to obey God's plan of salvation in Acts to enter the church. They all did in Acts even Paul himself. Now, why would Paul curse himself and preach another gospel? Galatians 1:6-9. Are you greater than them all? Ok, you say all you have to do is believe. How about Acts 10th chapter? Cornelius was a BELIEVER, but still, he wasn't saved. How do I know? Acts 11:14, Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
Read Acts 10:44-48. Where after the church got started do you see people getting saved just by saying I believe? You must have scriptures to back it up. I'll show scriptures to back up baptism salvation. Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:12, Romans 6:3-5, Galatians 3:27, 1 Peter 3;21, etc. If you going to follow the gospel you have to follow Acts 2:38. Repentance =death to sin, Burial = being dead to the things of this world, Ressurection = walking in the newness of life by the power of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 states baptism is FOR THE REMOVAL OF SINS, NOT BECAUSE YOU ALREADY SAVED. Don't take away from God's word or change it. Read Romans again from the beginning of the chapter to see who Paul was talking about. You can't isolate a verse and make a doctrine out of it. Matthew 18:16, But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

I think religion has become just like politics. I think our "pals" in whatever camp, are never going to be suspect or ridiculed, even if they are in the wrong. Am I the only one who read his book Classical Christianity"? I think (if I may be crass) people are fools when it comes to discernment. Most of the people who comment below are "Reformed/Calvinists" and would claim they are also Sola Scriptura diehards. Yet, Sproul went on record claiming he began with man and not God. What kind of foolishness is this when a "hero" can speak with forked tongue and you permit it because he is your "pal"?
A godly person ALWAYS begins with God. Too much philosophy intertwined with his theology compromised him and nobody says a peep. All these wonderful things said below and nobody willing to speak of his problems? I dont have a problem with studying philosophy, but I stop when it meets the foot of theology. You want to use philosophy then go ahead. But do not mix them like salt and pepper to spice up your theology. Sproul had NO business preaching Natural Theology especially when it came from Aristotle through Aquinas.
This reminds me of C.S Lewis. You cannot speak of his Roman Catholic heresies that he embraced and if you do, you are the problem and not him. What sadness.

But since he was catholic, when he passed, we proceeded the that service for the funeral and my family and I did go, but is going to that church but not participating in the ritual is that considered participating still?? After hearing of what the older gentleman on my right said, how he would not participate whatsoever because that would be denying the Faith, I was throwback because I’m wondering now if although I did not participate in the acts or rituals the Catholics do in a funeral service, was I still participating just by being there? Also, when my oldest son got married, that service was a catholic one as well although not in the church, I went but again did not participate in their ritual of that, but going was I still participating?? I am so concerned now.

The Council of Trent says (in more words) that if anyone believes that Christ paid for all of their sins, let them be anathema. It also says that anyone who believes they are saved by faith alone is to be anathematized.
And that’s not saying anything about how the Papacy, Purgatory, and Mass are all unbiblical; or that Vatican II mocks the exclusivity of salvation; or even how the Pope claims to be the substitute (vicarius) of Christ.

    • @duncescotus2342
      @duncescotus2342 3 года назад

@@justanotherbaptistjew5659 Well played point. However, Trent was rather carefully worded as are the vast majority of the Catholic Church's dogmatic assertions. There are indeed several that are absolute garbage, Immaculate Conception circa 1850 and Papal Infallibility circa 1870, and some that are mostly garbage, for example the latest by Francis, though he says some very true things in it.
You have to remember that in Trent, the Catholic Church would have felt the need to respond not only to Luther and Calvin, but the Zwickau Anabaptists, the fringe Unitarians in Poland, Crypto Jews in Spain, Neoplatonists, NeoPelagians, and everyone else, not withstanding Islam which had been relentlessly barking at the heels of Christendom for quite a while. No Genevan worried much about a Muslim invasion, and felt much responsibility to keep Christians safe from one. But if you lived along the Italian coast, or in the fringes of Romania, you feared daily. Even Vienna was threatened. Neither did anyone Protestant or Catholic blame themselves for what had happened to Constantinople. Meanwhile, the Orthodox, rightly held a grudge. Did they not live where Paul preached? Were they not the true first Christians? As an aside, they were quite right about the "Filioque." The Holy Spirit precedes from the Father, according to the scripture if one is literal, and not from the Father "and the son" as affirmed by the Creeds of both Western Catholics and Protestants. But the Holy Spirit gets short shrift from everyone these days except the Pentecostals.
So what did Trent say? Many things concerning the manner of transmission of the grace of salvation, which is viewed as process not merely confined to the new birth but one that continues growing. The Reformed obsession was with the new birth, how to be saved (past tense), not how we are being saved. It remains a great weakness in the Protestant Church, just as the free gift of justification remains a weakness in the Catholic. I think for this reason, Trent is pretty good. The parts you refer to are Canons 9 and 30. Again the wording is subtle (and that may be deviousness on their part) so that upon a clause everything will hinge: "meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification..." (9) and that sort of language.
The Catholic view is very in line with the Arminian, one of cooperation in which the will of the sinner is not obliterated. There is prevenient and sufficient grace at all times to make man culpable and to allow himself to be "prepared and disposed by the action of his own will." Even affirmation of Purgatory isn't without qualification: "that no debt of temporal punishment remains to be discharged either in this world or in purgatory..." (30).
Greetings in Christ, May you be mightily rewarded whether by merit (unlikely) or grace (better bet).

Bc its blashemy no forgiveness to lie on his Word. When Paul went to Demascus to kill those precious saints of the Lord , a light shine from heaven he heard a voice say, Saul, Saul why persecuteth thou me, it is hard to kick against the bricks, his reply, Yes,Lord. He was taken to Ananius to what there ? Pray, fast, mourn he saw and he heard his conversion, now he has become New in Christ Jesus, no more the same , asked self .What happened to him, Paul tells it bc he was shown many things about his flesh no matter what he do sin abounds in him. The flesh bc of satan massing up the seed of the things God said was Good, now corrupt ,by The devil that old serpent. Who had legs before to walk on. Why must people take away from the Word put their on thing to it and call it a simble? Why do men try to outfo the bible by researching it to rewrite their own word so thy can understand, if a man is lead by God he hear his voice he would be equip to become what God is a Spirit, those who know him will become like him in spirit and in truth, wisdom that makes that house(body), mind, soul. The image and likeness of the Creator, I am that I am. Yahwh. I am afraid in captl letters, bc when mourning I saw the Glory of the Lord. And was not the same anymore. Heard his voice, tremble, never was the same anymore ,saw whom I was before I was me. Yet when saying these things to a priest, while in my home talking on the phone I saw him call two others in the room conversing trying to trick me, as I spke on paper thy wrote each other messages , then when I said others things that thy had done, now thy decide to invite me in, to examine me futher, no way . Bc their motive was not of Holiness like God, my people that is called by my name shall humble themselves and pray seek my ways turn from their Wicked ways I will Heal the Land , Soul, needs healing, turn from sin,to rightousness, be real ,bc he is All. A person will not have to do God it will be inbedded in his Soul, bc he will become like his DNA, BLOOD OF THE LAMB,JESUS THE CHRIST. WHAT MORE COULD WE NEED OR WANT, BC HE WILL GUID YOU TO ALL TRUTH. BE RENEWED LIKE NICADEMUS, YEE MUST BE BORN AGAIN,AMEN

God’s grace, compassion, justice and righteousness are infinitely tied to God’s perfect foreknowledge of every decision we will ever make and thought we will ever have. When He orders each life with absolute authority we cannot say to God ‘that’s not fair’! God in absolute righteousness is responding righteously to our decisions and choices which He knew we would make before the foundation of the world. God is absolutely righteous and acts towards us justly. It is our free choice which elects our destiny. That God foreknow s our choices does not eliminate our ability to choose nor God’s absolute righteous justice in passing righteous justice in response. God chooses absolute righteous Justice in each creation. Only the choice to wholly submit to Jesus and acceptance of the free gift of grace can accept the act of sacrifice by Jesus to turn the wrath of God’s eternal judgement from us through His righteousness. We must accept the Divinity of God to unify free choice with God’s election.

Matthew 5:20For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven

@@wordofyah4641 Yes, I recently heard the argument from a brother, I believe a SDA, though he didn't say, that "the handwriting of ordinances" which Paul says were nailed to the cross in Colossians 2:14 refers to the law of Moses minus the Ten Commandments, which he says are excluded due to the fact they were written in stone and by God, not Moses. It is a true and valid observation, but not a tenable argument in light of Paul's attitude toward the law in Romans and Galatians, where he clearly desires to demonstrate the failure of the law to attain righteousness. We have to remember Paul is a "Pharisee of Pharisees," "as touching the law blameless."
But we need to be sensitive to scriptural language, not only what the text says literally, but how it says it, and what it doesn't say, what might have been said but wasn't, that kind of thinking. So, for example on this subject of the law, we have a paradox set up for us. The Lord declares, "I have not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it." and Paul takes it almost so far to.say that the law was destroyed, though he never says as much. He does say the law is "fulfilled," "taken out of the way," that it is contrary to "faith," that it "works wrath," and that it is even "the strength of sin" (1st Corinthians 15:56).
One way to think of it, is that we have been witnesses to "the death of the testator," (Hebrews 9:16) which ties into Paul's argument in Romans 7, that "the law has authority over someone only as long as that person is alive." The author of Hebrews is saying the lawgiver has died, and therefore the contract/covenant is voided; whereas, Paul seems to be implying that we have died in Christ, co-crucified with him. Either way the covenant is entirely new and independent of the law, yet in a paradoxical way, finally providing for all the righteousness that the law required, all that righteousness and more, as you pointed out, "exceeding" that of the scribes and Pharisees. Comments?

One more thing I really donot like how calvinism has put these men they call for fathers of the church on pedestal. Calvin, Knox, luthur ect yes they did good things helped us to understand some biblical issues better but they did alot of things that was ungodly that if they were alive today doing those things no way would any of these men even say they were saved. They got some stuff right but they got alot wrong. Luthur wanted the catholic church to let him follow his conscience but he denied many people the right to do the same. These men are not the apostles they didnt start the church and all the while the catholic church was going it's way there were always little gatherings of true believers outside of that following christ, some of which these men helped persecute. Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail he didnt lie. The church of God never fell asleep or took this dark turn nor did these men bring the church back to life. Luthur kept alot of Catholics practices baptizing babies when the Anna Baptist said no people must repent and then be baptize at an accountable age luther persecuted them. Calvin was a lawyer he approached the bible that way. And there is Augustin who started well but allowed his greek influence to completely derail his understanding of scripture and did so much damage to the church even today. These men starting the reform they did not complete it. And none of these men including armaan didnot die on a cross to save any of us. Please stop calling yourselves by their name, I truly hate that. Christian's has to appreciate what they did but we must also be honest about all they did. Am not going to believe in baby baptism simply because luthur did when there is no biblical grounds for that practise its ridiculous. Where they went wrong theologically we should not follow.

Love these men learn so much but 5 points of calvinism is just not biblical. If someone is not capable of believing without God and God decides not to make someone believe he cannot hold them responsible God is Just and because he is Just he doesnot operate that way. Of course God doesnt owe us grace. But he sent his son to bring salvation for all of humanity and even though we are dead in sin the bible nowhere says we cant respond because nowhere in scripture does it tells me that God believes for us. We must believe God in his sovereignty has given all of us the ability to believe or not believe and of course the Holy Spirit work in our hearts. And they completely misunderstand rom 9. Calvinism do not understand Gods sovereignty although they talk about it alot they think of it from a human point of view. Whoever thought of calvinism didnot think this through at all. And I am not Armenian have no idea what this guy thought have never even read him. I am a child of God solar scripturar. Read the bible and let it interpret itself you will never get calvinism

    1. Arminians are saved. Arminians are barely saved. Arminians are saved if they are true Arminians.
    2. John Wesley was a regenerate christian man.
    3. You do not need to believe in Election to be saved.
    4. A church does not need to believe in Election to be a True Church.
    5. The Reformation, Biblical Doctrine of Election or the Doctrines of Grace are not Essential.
This is all damnable heresy out of hell. This is a denial of the Three Forms of Unity. This is a denial of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the Gospel of Grace. This is a denial of the very foundation of Scripture and who God is.
