Very timely. Tomorrow is 4 years since Brother Sproul went to Glory
I really appreciate seeing R.C. Sproul and John MacArthur's more light-hearted interactions. They can disagree all day over paedo- versus credobaptism, but at the end of the day, you can tell that they genuinely respect each other as brothers and co-workers in Christ. A great model of unity among believers.
Do you think mcarthur will succeed Sproul as the king od the reformed / calvinist movement ?
I met Mrs. Lawson at the Ligonier National Conference this March, and I finally understood why Steve “married up.” She grew up Presbyterian 😂

The Lord saved my soul Oct 2020 was not a Christian home so I was SO new to the Lord and reformed theology and the Lord led me to RC church which is literally down the street (providence!).
And I found about RC because of your channel and the Lord has blessed me with true understanding of Him and his Word and has had me at Saint Andrews a solid church who cares about God’s word and Christian living! Will definitely be sharing with them at church it would mean a lot to them you made this in honor of RC !
The Lord continue to bless you through your ministry and strengthen your spirit in Christ 💜

I am thankful the Lord used Dr. Sproul to guide me and lead me to Reformed Theology. Its been 4 years indeed since he left to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, and I am thankful He used Dr. Sproul for His glory alone. 😄

We enjoy listening to RC's children's books on audio, the ones he does the voice-over for his grandchildren himself. Something so comforting in his voice, what a treasure.
RC Sproul was such a witty man with a terrific sense of humour!! I may know all these clips as they've all appeared in your previous compilations, I never get tired of watching them and always get so much laugh and entertainment from them! I can't get tired of them!

“A year of academy training, *wasted”*
What a glorious gift God has given us in laughter. After my regeneration in Christ, it seems I can almost chart the incremental changes that took place in the things that make me laugh. Thinking back to my laughter proir to Christ, I sometimes have to shudder at some of what I approved and laughed at. I'm not going to give an example of that, but I will report my childhood roaring laughter at the King James Version wording of Deuteronomy 23: 12. It was God's instruction on going number two. But that wording has now changed in newer translations. It was, "When thou goest forth to "ease thyself abroad".... and then, "...turn back and cover that which cometh from thee." I remember thinking how dumb those Israelites must've been to "go" on the ground inside the camp. Of course, I had already been camping many times as a very young child. But to my 12 year old self, even the wording of that passage was hilarious.
What a great way to start a Monday!

The best description of how to explain to our children from your teaching Mr. Sproul is summed up very well like this...................
Little Johnny, God has predestined the minority of people to be saved and go to heaven forever, and He has predestined the majority of people to be eternally damned and burn in the fires of hell. We have no idea, little Johnny, if God has predestined you to be forever damned or forever saved.
We love you, little Johnny, but we accept the fact that God might not love you, and that He may have plans to send you to hell for your future sins. If you do find yourself one day burning in hell because He hasn’t elected to save you, just remember that we will always love you, even if God hates you.
Take comfort knowing that we are not like God.
We will be in heaven forever only because we were unconditionally chosen for salvation before we were born. That would be the only reason that we won’t be in hell with you if you find yourself there. It won’t be because of anything we did.
So also take comfort in knowing that. It may not seem fair, but who are we to judge God?
So again, if you find yourself in hell, remember that we will always love you as we forever worship the God who loved us but who hated you, the God who sent His Son to die for us but not for you.
Please, we ask, don’t let it bother you-if you find yourself in hell-that we love the God who hated you and showed you no mercy. We must accept the fact that God is sovereign, and He does what He pleases.
Why would you ever hide the wonderful “doctrines of grace,” the “Bible truth,” from your own children or grandchildren?

Not too familiar with RC Sproul. Just started reading a book of his. Holiness of God. Uninhibited, testy, remarks here? Speaks his mind for sure? Maybe I should finish the book.
Very good book.
You'll need to finish the book and listen to many Q & A's (This channel catches a lot of them in a briefer time, when focused on R.C. than watching the whole Q & A) and watch more sermons by him. R.C. isn't exactly a super simple man.

There are no funny moments in reformed theology! Why do I say that? Because they teach that God sends the 'unelected' to hell for no other reason than, 'Its for His Glory'. How can any believer find joy in this life when they believe that some of their friends, family members, their children, parents etc may be chosen for Hell! Reformed theology is wrong. John 3:16.
There’s nothing funny about Sproul. He’s rude and arrogant.
Once I had a meeting with jesus, but I opted to go get a ham sandwich instead…..
