- Those who walk merely by sight will almost always despair at the conditions in the sin-sick world around them. In this session, Dr. R.C. Sproul will remind us that the world ultimately exists to make manifest the glory of Christ. He will affirm that in the midst of our hardships or in the midst of decline, God is on His throne, working all things according to the good pleasure of His will. He will encourage us by saying that while we labor in God's name, the Lord does indeed reign.

EXACTLY EXACTLY ! What a servant of the Lord he was. He gave so much and brought many like me to a more perfect understanding of things of God. I had never heard of the Doctrines of Grace before. I found predestination not to be believable on the one hand and logical on the other so as I kept watchin, listening and reading the references, it is now a core belief of mine. He and other Ligonier pastors said like, ' If you don't believe in predestination then you have too LOW a view of God.'
Well with the miracle of the Internet we CAN have him as our teacher right?. 😎
Even though RC is in Glory with his Lord we are still blessed by his teaching here on earth. Thankyou RC

I've just come across this ministry and this man! I feel blessed by his teachings! Then I learned he died in 2017. Just goes to show that death isn't the end. Hope to meet him in glory one day!

The Church has seen the passing of a great and gifted teacher and it will miss him. Heaven has gained another saint to worship at the throne and Dr. Sproul has reached the goal for which he long labored under the guidance of the Spirit of God. Thanks be to God for Dr. Sproul. In this message he spoke of the finite's inability to comprehend the Infinite and I believe that scripture teaches us that Dr. Sproul now understands it all for we who are in Christ are promised that we will know as we are known. And specifically, listen to this message and be blessed by Dr. Sproul's teaching.

I’ve listened to this message a couple of times in the past several years but hearing it in October 2021 in light of current events it’s taking on a whole new level of urgency and importance. It’s one thing to feed on solid teaching during days of peace and prosperity. It’s a whole other animal when certain specified biblically foretold moments in history arise within a generation calling for a response. It’s a beautiful thing to be reminded that God is and always will be acting on PLAN A. His plan has always been and always will be perfect and in no need of change. There is no plan B. A plan B is unnecessary. No matter how things look. To all my fellow Christians in 2021- fight the good fight. Fight the right fight. See you in Glory!

We lost our 19yo son in 2016. I say lost, but I know where he is, w/Jesus Christ. But in this existence, we feel the absence caused by death sharply. I miss RC Sproul like I miss my youngest of our two sons. I am excited to know I will see them both again.

My first encounter with this brilliant theologian was back in the early 70's. His early teaching lectures at Ligonier were captured on cassette tape and I was able to get a large collection of them. It was my earliest awakening to the Christian faith and led to my acceptance of Christianity.

I have enjoyed the exposition of the Word by many, in explication of much of what I would understand, but I have been blessed by this Pastor, this sermon, answering a question that has been in me for better than forty years of my faith. I am of scientific mind, a mechanic, a metal worker, I've spent a life becoming grounded in the sciences, in spite of my faith, and only now have come to know "the great Carl Sagan" chose to side-step the question he could not answer, but which I can now answer for myself, my son and daughter, and for any who ask, in faith.
I was greatly blessed this day, by the words of Our Lord, as spoken through this man of God, inspired, and raised up. I've dealt with this issue most of my life, in vain, and now have clarity in my faith, and I thank God for this.

Veritas I believe the west is being judged by God. He giveth and taketh away. He raises Nations and takes them down.
Veritas I believe God has been forgotten and I believe this is why all the chaos is happening with the wages of war, the Government that unfortunately still has say. To turn from God is to bring judgement. Personally and nationally.
When 911 happened, so many prayer. As time went forward they ceased to pray. People were not a unit anymore.
The fear of God can turn anyone towards HIM.
