I go to JoAnn fabrics or any other place that sells ribbon (Walmart, etc) and make my own. I just pick a print I like and cut it. Sometimes my wife puts a stitch or two in it to solidify it on the hat!
Yes, I absolutely think you can alter the size of a hat with water. There are a few things to think about. One would be whether you’re trying to make it larger by an eighth of an inch or smaller buy an eighth of an inch. My recommendation is to takeoff whatever hat band you have on with the hat and then either leave the hat band off or loose or if you want to have bigger or use the hat band to tighten the hat down. Typically I would say, get the hat wet and put it on your head and adjust everything until it fits well, then wear the hat until it dries. I’ve done this many times to shrink a hat, and I know it will also enlarge and a hat if needed. The real trick is making sure you use a good hat band to help solidify the size that you were looking for. Hope this helps! S^C
I followed your advice and got the exact crease and brim I wanted. I've steamed a lot of felts, but never messed with the palms until now. I can see why people like them so much.

What about altering the size of the hat with water. I need about an 1/8th of an inch to fit right on a new palm hat
