Very similar to our kata Hangetsu in Shotokan Karate, and favorite of mine for many years. One major difference is we use Mae Geri (front snap kick) instead of Yoko Kekomi (side thrust kick) s your style does here. The rest of the differences is mostly timing of slow vs fast movements.
Kata is not about consensual fight, but about self-defense (here you can see moves to break the elbow for example, which are forbidden in a sports contest)
@@piehound whose ego? yours maybe. Kata does NOT prepare for sports fights! Because Kata was developed 400 years ago where it was about self-defense in a life or death situation. Kata has a lot of extremely dangerous techniques, like eye gouging, genitals squeezing, neck piercing, etc. Get a life!
