From those of us who’ve played this game extensively, I feel like not enough attention has been given to the fact that you got 50+ takedowns in a Road Rage … in the _Jansen P12._ That takes some SERIOUS skill, far more than I ever had in this game.
As if 50 takedowns weren't hard enough as is
@@Natd0gsef Exactly, it’s DAMN hard _as-is_ with a proper road rage vehicle like the Carson Burnout Van, but with the _Jansen P12?!_ A car that’s KO’d in like 2 crashes? Incredible.
Then you have those F1 mfs doing road rages and marked men events 💀
surviving a Marked Man in it isn't that easy either.
@@burnerheinz definitely not, but it’s at least _doable_ by the average denizen of Paradise City. The Road Rage total is what really blows me away.
59 takedowns in a weak stunt car? Respect!
My rekord in Burnout 3 Was 101 Takedowns
I'm always in awe of how batshit insane racing game shitposts are, also I saw a clip from Herbie Fully Loaded which is a movie I haven't thought about in years so that was neat
Herbie is a certified classic ngl
Herbie was all my childhood 🤧🔛🔝
This video can be considered a requiem for burnout. The whole video was full of memes and references, and at the end of the video I felt sad, because games like burnout and flatout are no longer made. Such high-quality, soulful racing, where you feel like a crazy racer who can handle anything. And it’s very sad that the burnout died and there won’t be any more..... R.I.P Burnout 2001-2011
You did forget about a 2018 remaster of Burnout Paradise but then again, it ain't a new game
Damn, that ending would make a true gamer cry, couldn't be more true 💀😭. Spectacular job Mat 👍.
8:32 Acceleracers Mentioned, we win lads
8:32 that Vert split second hit my soul fr
This video is EVERYTHING! So many memes, so little time.
On a serious note, Burnout needs to be revived.
More like we need a sequel that's more chaotic and andrenaline.
Although, I don’t think Burnout’s revival would come across as the old Burnout descending from the Heavens giving us the thrills of the past, it would probably be more like EA digging up Burnout’s corpse and pumping it full of microtransactions before shocking it back to life like Frankenstein and shoving its half-baked remains onto the market as a quick cash grab. Let the legend rest.
@@willc3697 Give the rights to Burnout to a good game studio and let the legend be rebirthed
8:30 alright, you gained my respect for including AcceleRacers, the editing is phenomenal, man

Burnout Paradise and that other top-view arcade destruction game were probably the most fun I had on PS3

2:50 THAT GOES SO HARD
Man this video got me more emotional than I expected. The combination of this nostalgic game with all these memes and references I recognize just hits deep.
I also, somehow, never stopped to think how well eurobeat goes with Burnout.
Shit, i feel old, Burnout Paradise was peak gaming and peak Criterion Games, shame we've didn't got any new Burnout games or a Burnout Paradise 2, imagine a new Burnout game and we can customise our cars, good times, good times
The accelaracers reference was awesome 😎
8:31 i see you're a man of culture as well
This opens up a ps3 core memory from getting all 350 challenges, the Bikes, then Big Sur Island. Completing 102% and the Platinum Trophy (one of the fews I got).
Hopefully Criterion goes back to their roots and do another one.
8:32 acceleracers reference, am happy
Me 2 ;3
Everybody is happy.... 🧡🏎🔥
Sadly Criterion can't do the same destruction model in NFS or else the Car Manufacturers decline to put their car in the game. Gotta show how safe their cars are despite crashing over 300 kmh
that argument makes no sense. look at driver san francisco crashes. you can destroy real cars in that game. EA probably is too greedy as always. 😔
Glad that the Burnout fandom isn’t dead because this game series is something that we needed in our daily lives.
bro's outhere editing like he's got a million subs in the tank, fucking hell this vid was amazing
4:28 - 4:33 Nice use of Big Hero 6 indicators reference
8:31 ‼️short HWA cameo noticed‼️

Weeb commits vehicular manslaughter in Paradise City, asked to leave. (Awesome fucking job btw !!)
Manslaughter? This ain't no accident
4:46 I love the use of the Blur Critical Health sound
followed up by the Half-Life first aid machine sound effect. aahahha
"You can’t be me I’m a rockstar!"
This game has the best soundtracks of all time and it is a shame that it isn’t the case with the new ones for example FH 5 or unbound (trash game).
For anyone who are interested on finding good musics from underrated racing games here’s a list:
-Motorstorm
-Flatout (carnage)
-Ridgeracer
-Wipeout
-Outrun (coast2coast)
-Burnout (obviously)
-Extreme G racing
-Midnight Club (2,3 and LA)
-NFS (MW 2012)
-Gran turismo (5 prologue)
-Monsterjam (ps2 and GameCube)
And many more which I can’t think off.
EVERYTIME that I run flatout carnage, I stay on the menu just listening...
For me it's Flatout Ultimate Carnage. I played the shit out of that game on xbox 360 and I adore the soundtrack
We do not speak of 2012. Ever. Criterion tried to match the legacy of one of, if not the greatest NFS titles ever made from the franchise's greatest era, and failed horribly. The ONLY thing I'll give Criterion is that Hot Pursuit in 2010, was good.
Wipeout is fantastic in general
@@DEQODED.1 If you want to find a game that is like wipeout but in steam, I highly suggest to take a look at this game called BallisticNG. Totally worth it!
At least we still got BPR, it's as close as one can get if they're new. But it is still metal crunching chaos
Damn almost 16 years, still remember when i got this game in 2009 and i still play this game every now and then since i got it, i wish Criterion would make new Burnout or at least release Burnout the ultimate collection or something containing all previous games from the series
9:50 New Criterion isn't OG Criterion. It's true that there are a considerable amount of original crew still left in the studio, but current Criterion is just rebranded Ghost Games. I doubt they would make anything like Burnout Paradise.
So this is what car meme heaven looks like
Oh man this is one of my favorite games ever, I even got my PS3 copy signed by some of the devs when I ran into them at a convention!
P.S. I love how perfect the circuit racer's livery lines up with that meme at 7:00
Burnout paradise is literally eurobeat intensifies turned into a game
I'm honestly impressed you didn't try to use any of the speed racer movie clips whatsoever. There's so many moments here where i thought i'd see that kind of meme since this game lends itself to being as batshit crazy as that movie. That said, good video. It was full of tons of ups and downs and i really respect the amount of work that goes into something like this. I don't think i even have it in me to make stuff like this, but maybe one day i'll be able to live up to this level of quality. Good job and don't stop
Never seen speed racer tbh
@@MatuskoBugsOh man you should, that's a meme workshop
@@lamadeusgang5342 and we talking about the live action or anime?
@@MatuskoBugs I'd say the live action, as I only seen the movie a long time ago. That's a racing movie for kids, with everything that means (exagerated acting, clichés about cars, that kind of things)
@@MatuskoBugs absolutely the movie. It's a work of art imo. The amount of effort put into the scenes to make them hit in the particular way they do. The directors were batshit insane and they made the wildest anime adaptation i've ever had the pleasure of watching
Incredible work, love the dj atomica messages, and i can really feel the satisfaction of the vertical takedowns
This deserves more likes majestic ass editing
My favorite thing about videos like these is the use of footage from old car movies. Blues Brothers, Vanishing Point, Herbie etc. even more modern car movies like Baby Driver. Seeing it combined with anime stuff makes every neuron in my brain fire.
Neuron Activation when acceleracers lol
8:40 getting dizzy in the head from how hard I'm laughing at this one
God I’ve really got to pick this game up again. Absolute nostalgia, and mixed with some great memes and editing.
Ask Jesus, I can’t believe it’s been sixteen years since its released.
And Jesus*
Can’t fix the typo without removing the heart. :(
The remaster includes the Big Surf and all the DLC. Also it's on EA's pass if you have game Xbox/PC game pass.
Please dont pick up the PC version of remastered
@@nixoproto7545The worst part of BPR is that they fixed none of the bugs on PC. If the conditions on your computer aren't fucking pristine, the game will crash, and crash a lot. There are some mods to make it better, but they don't fix everything, sadly.
Ironically, it plays more stable on my Steam Deck than it does on my pc.
It's £2 on the ps store
Man, to think that the code for that feeling of speed was cracked years ago.. I fucking love this game and this video. The editing is awesome!
The highway, dirt track, and the train tracks were the best places to do road rages.
Here before this goes viral.
I absolutely loved playing this on my friend's 360. Hundreds of hours of absolute joy before the console got RRoD.
I also just realized that Battlefield 2 is turning 19 in a couple months
This video... It speaks to me in ways I've never been spoken to before...
Why does this masterpiece have so little views???
this game was half my childhood, and as far as i am concerned it was the peak of racing games in my life alongside GT5
Bros edits are the shit❤❤❤❤❤
2:23 nice takdown
This needs to be done with Burnout 3 and Revenge.
4:58 Martincitopants mentioned🎉🎉🎉

I felt like I was seeing Shingo Shoji playing with it's all an accident!
Excellent video as usual with a wonderful nostalgic moment
great times where arcade races were about fun, speed and crashes... RIP Burnout, You will be missed
My personal fav when i was a kid was Burnout revenge,i didn't play paradise back then, since i played every Burnout game ever so this vidéo was a rly good nostalgia trip, what a shame that Burnout was killed in favor of NFS,anyway great vidéo loved it.
Crazy video ; )
It scares me that I recognize more than half of these memes. And I'm a person who doesn't follow these memes much.
Also great songs covers.
Maybe they will do Burnout again. Let's hold hands, create a circle of power. Maybe we'll live to see that day, someday.
Burnout Paradise is still SO fun to this day. One of those games you can always start and get absorbed in the takedowns, races, stunts and tomfoolery. Sim racers are great but we need more high-adrenaline arcade racers.
Also, these memes are very well edited. The top gear clips are perfect.
this video is unbelievably based, not just because its packed with weeb stuff, but because its packed with weeb stuff
4:46 Whenever you are playing road rage or marked man and getting damage critical , it such a stressful moment to not crash while also looking for an auto repair shop

This video made me joy and sad at the same time. Nostalgy, son. Miss Burnout so hard. Playing Dominator and Revenge in PS2 was fantastic. Great video my friend
This was some fucking gourmet shit man. Keep up the good work
This is terribly underrated, your editing is a banger, and burnout paradise too. I prefer playing the non remastered version though, as it has the impact time sounds, actually made a video reinserting these sounds on paradise remastered.
Keep it up man, your channel is fire.
