"That Which is Missing" - by Josh Shpak (during high school, Nov. 5, 2010)

Although Josh Shpak spent 2023 touring the world with the legendary progressive rockstar, Peter Gabriel, this is the Berkeley Jazzschool Combo, performing a tune by high schooler Josh Shpak & Rocky Davis, titled, "That Which Is Missing", at the Novartis complex in Emeryville, CA on Nov. 5, 2010. The combo is directed by Erik Jekabson, and the performers include:

The music that these young men put together in November 2010 is a breath of fresh air. The trumpet and the vibraphone are the standouts to me, but the entire music ensemble made beautiful music together. They have an interest in "traditional" music and that sound is still relevant.🎵🎼🎶😃😄😀🙂😁
