- I did quite a bit of research looking into the best sounding exhaust for the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk WK2 equipped with the 5.7 L HEMI. I checked out Corsa, Flowmaster and some others but the Varex X-Force Exhaust was by far the best sounding exhaust I heard for the Trailhawk! The HEMI is officially opened up! Between the new exhaust and the cold air intake she is breathing nice. Now it’s time to dial it all in with a custom dyno tune!

Why the k&n intake that actually decreased the performance compared to the sealed air box that's stock.

It’s the actual license plate holder. Can find it online for like $50
What did they need to do at the shop to make it work?
I did notice the fender flares are different are they from the dealer?

Can I get that sound on a muffler delete?
It does sound good, but that's a lot of money for no performance or mpg gain.
I simply replaced the suitcase muffler with round Flowmasters and cross-pipe. Probably not as loud as yours but you can tell it's a V8 now. And no droning at highway speeds. Total cost about $265.
What FM muffler did you use? Any video?
@@Jazzvibe3071 Magnaflow 10426 4” round, sorry. No video, but only about 10-15% louder than stock.

Which varex smart box muffler did you have? Your not running it in this video right?
Oh not it is all on there for sure. I got their main smart box mufflers. Got the SRT kit and just made a few mods at the shop to make it work.
Sounds amazing! I was just about to pull the trigger on the Corsa system, but now you’ve got me rethinking that!
Which place/site did you buy it from? Also is there any drone at highway/interstate speeds?
I’ve got dynomax resonators and x-pipe and Gibson mufflers, which sounds good, but the drone at interstate speeds is more than I’d prefer.
This one basically munches up Corsa and spits it out the back end lol I really like how it sounds on the highway. I bought it from fun-haver.com

@@Mugochap as you can see I asked that in my comment and all he said was he really likes how it sounds on the highway, which didn’t answer my question. I like how my exhaust sounds too, but cruising at 70-80 mph the drone is heavy. Drove it from Michigan to Florida and back a little while back and now I have tinnitus(permanent ringing in my ears) and I’m 90% sure it was from the drone of the exhaust on the interstate for so long. So no/low drone is very important to me in my next exhaust system.

Neither of these jeeps have a lift, they're both Trailhawks with the stock air ride, however you can play around with the tires.

Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs aren’t good enough for you? Have tried dozens over the years and they are the best I have found for the purposes of that vehicle.
