Sorry everyone, all my comments got deleted after I made some changes to my account. I’ll try to reply again to all the comments, thanks for the all the support guys, appreciate it a lot!
Now that's what a hemi is supposed to sound like! Atta boy!
Appreciate it!, gonna make a video on it soon
To answer everyone’s question for the pricing and where I got the H-pipe from, I spent about 600-650 Canadian for the tips, H-pipe and everything including labour!, the h-pipe they ended up making in the shop the day I brought it in. No engine lights since I didint mess around with the cats or anything, thanks for the all the support again more videos coming soon
I did a resonator delete on mine exact same model of yours. It sounds alright but damn I’m going to do this to it now. I love how it sounds!
Nicely done Sir
Sounds great!!!
Thank you🙏🏽
You need a twin set of whistle tips on those.
I have the same Jeep too just different set up carven exhaust and resonator delete
Sounds Mean!!!!
Dude, in the 36 second mark, was it the mid muffler delete with the H-pipe installed that's where is had this deeper sound?
Alberta gang 🥰
🤟🏽🤟🏽
I’m going to buy a 2014 jeep limited with the 5.7 do I need to add anything to make it faster I know the dash only say 140 how can I get the full power of the 5.7?
Can u drop the link on where u purchased these at
Ouuuuuuuu that start up ughhh wow what a difference, how much it cost?
I have a 2012 overland with the Hemi and I love it. I've been thinking about putting a new exhaust on it, but I feel like a the engine could use some more power before tinkering with the exhaust. These Jeeps are heavy as hell and could really use a turbo or super charger. Sounds great though, dude!
Yeah I feel that, with a supercharger it’s a lot quicker but this is just a good suv for the weather and conditions we have here, got a Mercedes for speed!
Thats where the trackhawk comes into play😂
@@ByIntros oh well we can all live our dream through RUclips 😂
BettyWhipz right lol my scat pack is enough for me for now😂
Have a local guy that put the procharger kit on his 5.7 and blew up the stock motor in the first 5k miles. Def need to do some motor work before turbo/supercharging. Im running full bolt on w a diablo tune and it made a big difference.
Does Eco mode still kick in after this modifications?
Sounds good. I just got the same 5.7L Hemi Overland Summit 4x4 with the Quadra Lift 2 suspension about 6 months ago. So far no mods but I'll be changing that shortly. Overall I'm looking for an aggressive exhaust Mostly at cold start, Accelerating & especially when I'm flooring it. (Does the exhaust in this video stay loud when ur in cruise control on the freeway?)
I'm also looking to let it breathe better with a cold air intake, and probably long tube headers. Finally to give it alil extra power I'm looking for a tune.
ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?
I'm not looking to spend thousands of dollars but maybe afew hundred every other month or so. I've been told super chargers and Flowmaster and all that are 1,000-5k . Not tryina do all that . Just wanna give my 5.7 alil love. I also got that peanut butter interior with the gold N black wood trim, so ima go with murdering my baby out, with alil gold trim look to it. Gold brake calibers, bright gold fog lights, gold off road lights, gold Jeep emblems, I want to incorporate some goldish color into the grill aswell just don't know how yet without making it look cheesy..
Let me know what yall think ?! Thankx
Honestly it seems like you got the wrong car. No mods for the Grand Cherokee 5.7l run less than $1,000. You gotta pay to play.
I did straight pipe without H pipe and it a lot loader than that and it has a deeper sound
Congrats🤟🏽
Does the Jeep have back pressure still?
You kept your resonators?
Front resinators? And the drone?
dude, that was like a 5 second 0-60, holy crap
@@bettywhipz6346 LOL that's great. I was like "daaaaang that thing moves out for a 5.7" great exhaust tho
0-60km/h
Do you have any other mods because it seemed like your 0-80 was super quick
Its kilometers
That's what I'm talking about
Glad you like it brotha!
Have you had any issues with this car ?
Hi, I got a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L CRD, and I also wish to do these modifications to it.
It will not sound like this you'll need a V8 engine
I want to get this done to my car could you give me a quick rundown of exactly what you did?
@@bettywhipz6346 how much did that cost you? Like the parts and labor.
@@joegriffith7862 Not sure if you ever got a reply, but a muffler delete is usually around $50-60usd each. I've owned nearly 60 cars and I've done a muffler delete on all but maybe 5.
How much did it cost?
Hey man! I live in Alberta too and wanted to ask you if the police stopped you for being too loud,😬😬
My 04 ram 1500 5.7 was about twice as loud as this and I never got pulled over, took that truck all across Alberta too.. it was true dual catless straight pipe into 3" tips with bbk shorty headers
How do you like the car any mechanical issue what’s your review on the car itself? I’m looking at 2012 overland V8 just wanted some insight on the vehicle.
Great car ive had it for 3 years no issues
Sick setup, any signs of powerloss after the installation? Consider doing this to mine as well lol
Yes, due to exhaust fumes process called scavaging, but it sounds way better than the x pipe which is technically supposed to help with performance through the same process.
I did this exact set up but with x-pipe to my 16 SRT and it sounds amazing never agin will I spend 1,200$ on a exhaust like I did on my 08 SRT when i can get resonators and mufflers deleted for 350$
That’s what I mean! and I was stuck between the x-pipe and h-pipe, did some research and ended up going with the h-pipe, I would never spend over 1K on a exhaust system unless it was for a performance csr
@@bettywhipz6346 why did you choose H instead of X pipe?
@@kintaro583 did some research and read that the H-pipe has more advantages with towing and the x-pipe is good for getting that sound when racing or accelerating! I think with x-pipe you get less drone as well but I wanted this suv loud
@@bettywhipz6346 Did the H on mine and it's definitely louder. Barely noticeable drone but now I want new tips or resonators to smooth it out. Don't see the need to spend thousands when you can get this for a few hundred bucks
How’s the reliability?
what size tips?
So what would be the sound/ power difference between this, an X pipe, and just straight pipe?
H pipe gives it a more deeper sound like a old school muscle car sound
How much they charge you
Do you feel you lost any horsepower due to the straight pipe? I hear a lot of rumors that a straight pipe can reduce horsepower or in some cases increase the power.
That doesn’t make any sense
@@xayyt3109 pretty sure I said “rumors”. That’s why I asked the question.
@@brandonlopez610 exhaust has nothing to do with power
@@xayyt3109 A straight pipe on some cars can reduce engine performance.
@@xayyt3109 yes it does. Better airflow has the possibility to increase power. Just like for humans, better breathing can make you have more energy.
After riding at around 70mph on the highway for a bit, did you get kind of annoyed with hearing the noise inside of your car. Has anyone else who rides with you said the same?
if I was to have an x-pipe the drone would be muffled a lot but since I went with the h-pipe drone is a lot like a cat back straight pipe.. it is loud but it really depends on if you do enjoy having a loud sounding exhaust, a lot of people that drive in love the sound but I could see where it could get annoying as well for others
about how much did this cost you man? i’m looking for same sound for my 2013 grand cherokee 5.7
@@bettywhipz6346 were did you purchase the h pipe from?
@@tevintuggle943 he said they fabricated it in house
Sounds like a boat.
How long do these cars last and what kind of maintenance is required?
Arsh Bedi I’m looking to buy a used jeep Laredo with the hemi v8 but I don’t want to buy one and have to repair it as soon as I get it what should I look out for ?
@@michaelpast19 good question I wish somebody answered ... I just got one
I love my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit but I can't say that they are the most reliable. Was in the shop after 6 months for a new water pump. I would say go ahead and get a warranty if you are purchasing from a dealer.
I also have a 2011 JGC with the Hemi. I had zero problems with reliability until just the past few months when I've had to have the fuel pump relay replaced (under recall, no charge by dealer) and actually right now it's in for an issue with the crankshaft sensor/wiring. This has been a wonderful and fun vehicle for me. Lots of fun to drive in the snow.
Take care of your vehicle it will take care of you
Sounds good, but it's not a straight pipe, still has the cats on.
🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ I know I know, I explained it in the video more but to the simple person they’d call it a cat back straight pipe
U live at the gas station lol
Do you have cats?
Arsh Bedi thanks man I have an overland too and im looking for the perfect sound, you didn’t have a problem when taking off the middle suitcase? I’ve read something about the mds not working as it should?
That's why you don't by a used car from Alberta look at that under carriage.
Ahh yeah it’s the snow here what can you do other than get an undercoating, I’d rather by a used car here than in Ontario with the salt they use on the roads there, would rather my undercarriage look like this , then my whole car
remove cats too??
Still on
Did you loose any power? Low end or top end?
Arsh Bedi okay cool thanks. Still looks like it moves pretty damn good I see
Arsh Bedi that’s interesting! I heard the H pipe gives a more of deeper tone then the X pipe. I think I’am just gonna go with a cat-back exhaust on my 2020 High Altitude. I already did a K&N air intake to wake up the Hemi and it sounds good and I feel a nice difference in power.
Arsh Bedi I got the K&N air intake with no exhaust and it sounds really good.
The 5.7 Doesn't have 220 on the speedo, nice try
That 5.7 has potential to be running 500+ hp
I laugh at us because you say loudest
Click bait much???? Hahaha
wouldn't say clickbait, not the loudest but still louder than yours ;)
