I was looking into both of these cat back systems, but instead decided to go with just a resonator delete and two original 40 series Flowmasters with 4” double wall tips. Mine blows both of these out the water... and now I can get a 75” tv with the $1200 I saved. lol
I've got flowmaster 10s with resonator delete on my 17 charger rt. I found the too loud level lol. I'm definitely going to do the same setup on the next car I get which will be a 5.7 JGC...
Ok so million dollar question for those that have the Borla. Ive had cat back exhausts on my last 2 Grand Cherokees ‘95 5.2, ‘05 5.7. I loved the sound of the Borla on the 5.7 05 I didn’t experience any drone on it (compared to the 3”MBRP that was deafening). Now they say this Borla has a drone on these new WK2 Grands. I have a ‘17 5.7 Trailhawk and looking at the Borla again. What is the difference that the system for the 05 didn’t have drone and this version does? What changed?
The Borla is the sound I'm looking for, I don't want the whole system, I only want to delete the resonator and replace with muffler. Can one tell me the part number for the Borla muffler used here?

You won't feel much of a difference, due to the fact these jeeps with the hemi and 4x4 weigh over 5k lbs, maybe throttle response will be sharper, but that's about it. Just a sound enhancement.
They fixed that with a new version. I don't have it but there are videos out there with the corsa re design which gives it more bass. I'm happy with this one though because of no drone at all. I can't speak for the new one though

I like the borla. I like more of a deep burble, esp when it comes to an SUV that ill prob drive everyday. Corsa sounds too much like im sittin in my charger. The vehicle type and function dictates the sounds and type of sounds IMO. I don’t want my Jeep sounding just like Charger/challenger/300
Well it seems that this guy won't tell any of u what level of mufflers are on each catback but they are no way in hell the loudest offered by each company. The Corsa is a Touring level being more quiet than the Corsa Sport and the top dog best loud pitched growling muffler I ever heard, the Corsa Extreme. The Borla could be the (slightly louder than stock) Pro XS, XR1, or Touring which is the loudest of the other 2 mufflers I named. The screaming Borla Stingers (S-Type) and the loudest deep rumbling muffer ever the Borla ATAK will spell Bald Eagle alert.
On a Nissan V6 the Borlas are great but in this instance, 5.7 HEMI I don't like the Borlas. The Corsa's sound way better. Good point about the drone. A loud low end drone on the highway can be annoying if you're trying to talk or listen to music. Nice Vid.
And that’s how I want my Grand Cherokee to sound. It’s a truck so I want more deep burly sound more than the high pitch-ness of the corsa which make the SUV sound just like a charger/challenger/300
@@pimpindnice910 corsa just sounds high pitched on here. It's still extremely "bassy" it's just got more flow and volume. The Borla is far more muffled. Nothing wrong with it, it's just not letting that V8 sound like a sporty V8.

I have been trying to decide on what exhaust to put on my 6.2 Sierra and hands down the corsa sounds better thanks for the video.
I realized that the borla sound like a roar of a lion and that is what I like;
I'm a fan of Borla but I have to give to pros to Corsa, sounds so much better.
I say that's up to the buyer they both sound great. Don't think you would lose out with either.

They both only cat back systems and it looks like with the corsa you had to remove the spare tire is that correct

You need to compare to the Borla S type mufflers, they are way better with the 5.7 than whatever borlas are on this

I ended up putting the borla multi core series on mine. I definitely feel a difference. The sound is incredible.

How do you like those jeeps, any major issues with them! I always hear bad things about jeeps ! But I love the looks of them.
I had the front axle seal replaced under warranty around 30k but after that just regular oil changes and a couple recalls. nothing major
corsa sounds better to me. I have a jeep commander with the hemi hope they make it for it
