oxxsteel I agree.... I had so many plans for that Jeep, but it was too problematic. I had 20+ warranty related issues in 2 years so I ended up having Chrysler buy the Jeep back a couple years ago. The SRT has been better, but I’ve had a handful of issues with it as well.

@@SRTMustangKiller what were some of the issues?

Sonny Visual I seriously had too many to try and list them all right here. My check engine light was on more than it was off while I owned that vehicle. One of the biggest/scariest issues I had was the accident avoidance system... I would be driving down the highway at 75-80mph and for no reason at all the jeep would take over braking and steering... I swear I thought I was going to die when that happened! Let me look through my paperwork on it and I’ll give you a few more issues I had. I’ve got the Trackhawk now and have had no issues yet... the funnest vehicle I’ve ever driven.

SRT- Mustang Killer very interesting. Was it a 3.6 or 5.7? My mechanic says only the V8s are decent, but very thirsty. More than advertised

Sonny Visual so that one was an Overland with a 5.7. Then I had the SRT which is a 6.4 and now the Trackhawk, 6.2 supercharged. All are V8’s and drink a lot of gas.... but the power is worth it!

It is the Atak System nor S Type and does it Drone in the highway and when in 4 cylinder mode?

This is actually the multi core series, it's a little pricier than the ATAK and S types. That being said, I hardly hear any drone at all. With Borla you definitely get what you pay for. If your considering getting this exhaust system, go through autoanything.com they are the cheapest I found. This video sadly doesn't do the system a lot of justice, listen to it through stereo speakers.

I have a 2014 Summit 5.7L and I've been considering a exhaust change. Its tough with the Summit because of the stock exhaust tips. Im thinking of just removing the middle resonator or adding a X flow muffler underneath instead.
btw your setup sounds very similar to my 2014 SRT demo GC! very nicely done by Borla

courtsm3, thank you! I've honestly wondered how difficult it would be to change the exhaust on the summit model. Have you gone to the autoanything website? I've gotten all my mods from them, I'm almost 100% positive that I saw exhaust tips on there that would work. Also check your local exhaust shop... They normally have several different tips or could have a couple custom made for your GC. I'm happy with Borla, I considered Corsa, but glad I made this choice.

Its something I'm looking into. i have a custom exhaust shop close by that builds hot rod and other high hp cars. they might have a good setup in mind. nothing crazy loud, but just a little more rumble

I recently removed the center resonator and replaced it with an X-pipe on my SRT. I didn't notice much of a change but after having OBX long tube headers and an 87mm throttle body installed, it really woke up. I posted a video of it if you want to check it out.

I just bought a 2014 JGC Limited 4x4 5.7L V8. any recommendations for after market exhaust?

There are a lot of options to choose from honestly. I would recommend either Borla or Corsa. Both are more pricey than brands like magnaflow or flowmaster, but ultimately you get what you pay for. I've had the Borla catback on for over a year and it still sounds incredible.
