- The Jeep has American Racing Header 1 3/4 with high flow Catalytic Converters. The "cat back" portion is a Full 3" dual exhaust. X pipe followed by Kooks Bullet Mufflers (R300-10) Out dual exhaust tips 3" inlet to 4" outlet.
The audio recording doesn't give good justice for the system so I'll have to shoot more video.
5.7L Hemi 8 speed Transmission Summit edition
Damn cruising at 50-60 is where i hear the most drone complaints but youre talking and i dont hear anything else. I'm 2 years in contemplating putting an exhaust on, now i can finally do so. I have the 6.4 intake manifold, throttle body, exhaust manifolds, cai(installed), diablo tuner, and i am waiting for texas speed to release mds delete cam kit to put everything on. Should be right around srt power numbers if not more after tune for far less money. Nice video man
Sounds good!!!
Get with Jay Greene performance. They are the hemi tune specialist. It will make a difference. Makes me want to buy my exhaust. Sounds good!
Ive heard good things about green.
I just contacted him for a tune will be purchasing after holiday
And your going to need a hand held tuner bro. For a tune
I did the hooks same as youu but not xpipe a lot drone inside 😢
Ive been looking for video with these mufflers.. should they be placed under the bumper or the middle?
Um. Thats a good auestion. Mine sit exactly under the rear dif. So in between the old suitcase muffler and rear resonators locarions. The x pipe is right before the kooks mufflers. There is a science as to where exactly the x pipe should be. Ive read that they should further up the exhuast system closer to the engine.
I get a TON of compliments on my exhaust system so i think these mufflers are a good choice.
How did this exhaust affect your fuel economy
That sounds "Meaningful" (tough) !!!!!!
I haven't posted a video in almost a year. But the motor is now a stroked 397. And it sounds way meaner
Why is the check engine light what codes does it have ....
What is the best exhaust upgrade that will cause just a little more noise than stock ??? Thanks !!
What is the part# of those quad tips? Your Jeep sounds awesome.
great vid man .. truck sounds dopeeeee
i have the 5.7 gc 2016 ... and im not doing anything before the cat's ( just have and afe CAI) want your opinion. I want loud but i want as little drone as possible so im down to these choices ( in my head)
1. leave the suitcase and run straight pipes out the back, ( quick , cheap, loud and the mid muff will gimme very little drone)
2. remove all oem exhaust , x pipe, 2 LCGP resonators 2.5 in,
3. remove all oem exhaust , x pipe, 2 LCGP resonators 2.5 in, 2 flowmaster outlaws ,
4. get your setup (minus all the before cat stuff you did ofcourse)
i respect your opinion and look forward to your response
Sport mode sound different try it
Sounds Good !
😮😮👍👍
I got my set up just like that
Sounds great! What’s your next mod?
Im going to do a cam swap. Im going to put in the 392 SRT cam. 60-70 bucks depending where you get it from. Its the automatic transmission version. There is a price difference from the manual. 40-60+ HP is what is to be expected while retaining mds
Who do good tuning for jeep
Satera Tuning
I'm from Colorado too I think you posted on cdcc page for us to look you up and man a jeep build fuck ya I will follow we should link up one day
Sounds really good! 👍
Check engine light is because your vehicle is designed for the old cars you took out, I heard it turns off with stock cats. Hope this helps
Sounds amazing. Where can I buy exhaust parts like that? And like how much would the whole thing cost to get installed
For this set up, you're looking at around 2500 bucks. Go to Kooks exhaust to get your long tube header install. Summit racing is where i bought the rest of my exhaust parts.
Really nice set man I like a lot actually 👍🏻👍🏻
U can't put shit gas, 87 in the , 5.7. U gotta put 93 and above.
nice! thanks for the before and after - those exhaust tips look amazing!!
Thank you
is that check engine light from the exhaust being redone?
Sounds dope, I’m getting the same exhaust setup
Man that sounds great. I'm mad late, but what exhaust tips are those? They fit perfectly.

I had a 2018 Grand Cherokee 5.7 L Hemi with cold air intake and Borla Journey exnausts. It sounded real good but I wanted more HP (I had 420) and was just ready to put Kooks Headers on it when it was totaled 9/16/21. I have a 2022 Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7 L Hemi on order and the Kooks Headers are already waiting. Will also add cold air intake. Maybe Borla Attack exhaust, if needed, for more HP and sound. But, your
GC 5.7 L sounds wonderful! Hope mine sounds as good!
Yeah but I blew my motor up. So I rebuilt it and now it's a 6.5L/397 C.I. stroker
Throw a 6.4 intake on it. It's will help tremendously. You don't need a tune for it. But it helps
I would like to know if you ever thought on taking in consideration a 2.75 exhaust system instead a 3 inches.
No. I wanted the bigger exhaust because I knew I would do more with the motor. Now that I'm putting in a stroker kit I wish I would have went with a bigger primary on my longtubes. I went 1 3/4. I wish I did 1 7/8 at least. But anything is better than the factory log manifolds.
What tips is that?
I just got a 2013 overland 5.7 any recommendations 👀
392 intake. Longtube headers. When you do the headers do a cam swap at the same time. Makes both installs easier since the heads come off. You can install the longtubes attached to the heads at the same time as one big component. So while it's all apart throw a cam in, mds delete. And you'll have a solid build. It pretty much the most you "should" do before throwing in forged in internals. Watch my other videos and you'll see some of the headaches I've been through
@@teammopar771 what will it do for my MPG?
What quad tips are those?
Sounds awesome love it
Are you the guy from the cdcc.
Yes
Team Mopar cool I'm in the car club too.
Sounds really good have you gotten pulled over much 🤔?
NOPE!
Matter of fact the motor is now a 397 and is even louder and I still haven't been.
Sounds good
Nice I'm definitely going for a 2020 GC limited X or Durango RT next fall almost done paying off my mustang i need a all wheel drive for the winter
The best part which I think is severely overlooked is that any 5.7L Durango and GC can take the same mods as a challenger / charger while still providing all the SUV amenities. My grand Cherokee can go to the track, run 12's and then in the same day not changing a thing, can go off roading in CO mountains. It's the best grocery getter of all time.
@@teammopar771 12's?? High 13's is what most 5.7 Cherokees run. That's with CAI, dyno tune, and exhaust. SRTs run 12's stock
@@shanejackson6856 I ran a 12.491 @ 109 with a 4400ft DA with a 125 shot of nitrous. that exact same day i ran a 14.00 @ 100 same DA. But ince I blew my motor up im now going with a forged 397 kit with a custom grind cam. Ill be assembling the engine with new goals in mind
@@teammopar771 Nitrous is fun
Sweet!!!!!
Um a um a um a um a stop saying um a um
Uuuummmmmmm ummmmmm ummmmmmmmmmmmmm thanks for the view
@@teammopar771 lmao 😆
What company high flow cats do you have on this?
