I also have a CP1 in .22 - love these guns🥰Single shot model, and have fitted an Enfield Red Dot to mine. Power wise, mine will do 5.26 ft/lbs on a cold day with 16 grn AA pellets - total beast and more than happy🤪As far as shots per capsule, will do a good 40.
Thank you. The CP1 should be an excellent target pistol. It doesn't have the 2-stage trigger nor the silencer of the CP2. So simple fix, I fitted the better wooden grip to my CP2 (eBay find Zasdar CP1 limewood grip). Needed some woodwork, they're not quite the same. The factory seems to use a sticky muck for grease, not helping. Polished up the internals a bit and carefully aligned holes I get 4.6+ft-lb consistently at about 500fps with a 0.53g 177 pellet with a very tight spread of s.d. 3fps. I only shoot 177 with a pistol and I gather 500fps is their Goldilocks zone for 10m target, and potentially 85 shots at that rate. I did increase the power, it is easy to do, but reverted to ~500fps as for accuracy, more is less. If you do not boost the power there is some temperature compensation between hammer and valve pressure, remaining fairly consistent and importantly s.d. 3fps between 15°-28° degrees. The pistol is castrate a fly, far more accurate than I am. I do try to shoot free held, not because it is easy but because it is difficult. A pistol is far more challenging than a rifle.
I've just got a CP1 in .25, Pellpax was doing them half price, gotta be fair, most comfortable pistol I own, just waiting for the weather to clear up a bit to get outside and do some plinking 👍
You have to check once a week buddy , they do come up , look through the entire site , things are sometimes repeated at different prices , cheers shane
bet you wish you could shoot like that free hand 🤣🤣🤣 i have the cp2 and it’s a great little gun also very accurate for a co2 gun . however i use it more in rifle mode as i am a terrible shot with a pistol far to shaky for sure 🤪🤪🤪
If you polish them up a bit they can be more than very accurate for a PCP target pistol. After I had tarted up the CP2 pistol I had to get a second CP2 as long rifle.

Really loving these videos mate. Good honest reviews. Not perfect but how they should be. Keep um coming as I and many others enjoy them soo much. Brian Dorset
No. The CP2 long rifle is excellent for rats but the aiming of a pistol is too slow, you will miss the rat. It's not the power, a 2.5ft-lb Webley Junior will easily dispatch a trapped rat, but miss a barn door. We need to be able to hit a rat's head, smaller than a 50p bit, at 35 yards, every time. And, dashed unsporting of them, the blighters insist on moving about. First trick with the CP2 long rifle was knocking a running rat at 20m, standing, shouldered. The CP1/2 pistol will shoot 20m or more but the sights will be dancing about as you bring it to bear, a rifle can come up pretty steady.
Good job as usual Shane, impressive accuracy. 🤔💥💥
