Brennan Davis was dealing with back issues at the start which I blame 100% on why he wasn’t playing well but now he’s back from surgery and hope he’s all good for 2023
I think Brandon Pfaadt has a case to be on the top 100 list. While his era in AA was 4.53, that’s still better than average in the Texas League which is 5.10. To go along with that he has 166 K’s in 124 innings this year and since coming up to AAA he’s looked really solid. He put up similar strikeout numbers in his first minor season as well. There’s always guys around the bubble of the top 100, I think he’s earned some recognition.
Leiter dropping is fine for him, take some pressure off and finish the year strong. Just hoping I don't see any "Rangers made the wrong pick" takes soon
Can you please do a Farm Systems Ranking? I’m very curious to see where my Reds sit because I think that we could be one of the top in the MLB after the deadline.
Romo is one the best defensive catchers on this list & calls a good game plus bat is decent, low K rate & steals bases. Walker is giving me 23 year old Aaron Judge vibes minus the strikeouts at 20, have you seen him playing CF. The guy is a freak & Winn too, one the best defensive SS prospects (Ozzie praised him). Cardinals are going fun for years, I’m pumped as a fan who’s been disappointed since Tavares passed & had to deal with the Alcantara & Gallen trade.
If he can stay healthy Royce Lewis is the future of Twins shortstop. He was a beast this year before going down with injury. It’s going to be hard to hold onto Correa so knowing you have this guy and Brooks Lee in the system is reassuring for Minnesota’s infield.
Our infield is gonna be so stacked for talent. Polanco, Arraez, Miranda, Lewis, and Lee will all be competing for spots. I think Lee or Lewis moves to the outfield and we play Arraez at 1B, Polanco at 2B, Lewis/Lee at SS, and try to fit Miranda at 3B.
Think about the young SS in the AL East. Bo Bichette, Wander Franco, Gunnar Henderson, Anthony Volpe and Marcelo Mayer. Should be fun to watch the next decade.
Where is James outman. He got called up and hit 460 through 13 AB’s. Obviously small sample, but he raked at the highest level. Hit a homer in his first at bat
Not sure how Luisangel Acuna is still not getting any love from MLB Pipeline. He's outperformed top 25 guys in High-A this year at the same age, and is doing just fine in AA so far. I know some people don't love his size, but he was the orgs defensive player of the year last season, and his ISO has gone up at every level so far.
Very surprised that Emerson Hancock was left off this whole list! I feel like at least the 75-85 range would've been a nice fit for him. He has had a really solid year in AA.
Abel’s ERA doesn’t look great but a lot of it is due to the coaching staff putting limits on how many times he can throw each pitch so he develops his secondary pitches. He just got called up to AA with Painter and they’ll both be pitching in Reading this weekend!
Take a look at Felnin Celesten. All star potential and someone who could seriously dent major league pitching in the future. He's super young and still a few years away from getting the call up but HUGE potential.
Hot Take Alvarez not a top 3 prospect. Caroll and Rodriguez I think are absolutely raking , Caroll to a level never before seen. And I take Henderson over him if u look at the OPS it’s vastly different. I think he’s more of a Mayer or Walker level.
As a braves fan, I love that we have 1 player on this list and he is already gone be off of it soon just like Harris. Our farm was ranked one of the worst yet strider, Harris and Grissom are dominating. World Series window is going to be open for a while!
The thing I find more crazy is that while most top prospects in the last few years struggle early in their MLB career, Braves prospects seem to come up crushing it.
Lol he says that Moreno’s got questionable power when he’s proven it at AAA, but then Alvarez struggles at AAA (Ik it’s a small sample size) but he’s confident that he’ll mash in the bigs? They’re only 2 years apart. Love the vids btw hahah
This is a personal thing since I'm a louisville fan, but I think it's crazy Bryan hoeing isn't in the top 30 at all for the marlins, I think he is possibly the most mlb ready pitcher there, showing why they brought him up yesterday, and I feel like a big reason he did so bad in his first appearance is because he went against the dodgers
Call it Mariner bias but imo Emerson Hancock should be a Top 100 prospect. He dispelled the concerns about durability after he came back from injury and has pitched lights out. Look at his Futures Game inning (yes it was a little fastball heavy). He just pitched 7 shutout innings at Double A. Through 15 starts he has a 2.19 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP, 64 K's to only 21 walks in 70 IP and only a .194 Bavg. against. Idk who to drop off the list but I think Hancock has earned a spot.
Be on lookout for Miguel Bleis (Red Sox 5th overall prospect at the moment). Bleis is a freak, would not be shocked if he's the talk of the system by the end of next season. Another Acuna in the making
I think they have a few guys already in the bigs that will develop into good players like alek Thomas, Seth beer and daulton varsho. Alek Thomas is gonna be a very good ball player imo
For all the shit we give the Rockies they are surprisingly good at developing home grown players. Arenado Story Blackmon Freeland and probably some other notable players were all drafted and developed by them. Shame they hate making trades for other teams' prospects for whatever reason otherwise their farm would be lethal
Sheesh. I don't understand how Vientos could be listed here last year, put up an OPS of over .800 at AAA as a 22 year old this year, and be left off. He proved he could play a full season against the second most difficult level, but loses his spot. Ugh
Mariners farm gonna be back at the top in a year everyone is forgetting about Hancock. Just drafted young gonna most likely have two first round picks with Julio most likely winning ROTY gonna sign felnen celesten. And don’t sleep on Lazaro montes the next Yordan Alvarez
Baty, Alvarez, Parada and Ramirez could be all stars for a decade once they come up. I hope Parada and Ramirez stay with the organization. This team is really going to have to start developing talent because the braves look like they are going to be good for a long time with all the young talent they keep pumping out. The Mets and the Braves could be what the Mets and the Cardinals were in the 80s slugging it out for the division for the next 10 years.
@@BrianRMeo Hes batting like .240 in AA and doesnt seem to have improved/advanced much since the beginning of the season. I think his projection is dropping.
As an orioles fan, I’m not as high on Gunnar, think he’s a top 10 prospect but not number 1, think people are sleeping on Dl hall, nastiest stuff I’ve seen in a while. Grayson is top 3 too me and a sleeper is Joey Ortiz and Connor norby.
I'd have Corbin Carroll over Gunnar, but both ahead of Alvarez. Gunnar has checked every box. He hits for power and average to all fields, has above average athleticism and a cannon for an arm defensively. His k/bb ratio is very good for a 21 year old in AAA. He has nothing left to prove. Same with Carroll.
@@gogreal1235 If he was elite defensively like Adley was coming up I'd be fine with him at #1 since Catcher is so valuable. Right now, Alvarez looks like a future DH/1B and you can't have a guy like that at #1. It's not like his offensive stats are that impressive either.
Brennan Davis was dealing with back issues at the start which I blame 100% on why he wasn’t playing well but now he’s back from surgery and hope he’s all good for 2023

Walker, Winn, Hence, Burelson, Baez!

Bobby Miller is a GOD in the show I hope he will be like that irl
It’s so exciting being a Diamondbacks fan again
Hot take Zach Neto is a top 100 prospect didn’t do much in A ball but ever since he’s been called up to AA he’s been killing it

Just have to limit the walks, he is still nasty.
Those takes will happen no matter what the prospect does. He could have already made his MLB debut and someone would say they made the wrong pick.
Elly De La Cruz will be top 5 next one out.
Anthony Volpe is a stud in the minors so I’m really excited when volpe makes it
Love that you think the Guardians have one of the best farm systems, would love to see you rank each teams farms!
A name to keep an eye on is Dodgers pitcher "Gavin Stone" dude has some filthy stuff with great command, he will be top 30 next time around.
