I’ve downloaded some (they’re allowed for commercial use), but the name/preview of it doesn’t show on the left. Do you know how to fix that? It’s just a blank space

That means that the metadata for the font wasn't properly defined. Likewise, if the font is an "all caps" font, or an incomplete font (typically a display font) then it might not show properly.
You could use a font software to open the file and edit the metadata, but that might be more work than it's worth!

There is a font inside Procreate called Marker Felt by Pat Snyder. I had a look around and I can't seen to find it anywhere to license it, but when you Google it, it says for personal use only and I would like it for commercial. Would you have any insights on that one pls??

If it comes pre-loaded into Procreate, then it has been cleared for commercial use

@@VisualTimmy Thank you for your reply. I have reached to Procreate directly and they have stated that this specific font is preloaded in Apple products but they do not have the license for this.

Hey I asked procreate support if I can use their default fonts for commercial purposes and they said I have to get licenses for them. Can you verify if this is correct? I’m trying to use the didot font and zapfino font for commercial use.

Didot is a Google font classified under an Open Font License. It is ok for commercial use. Zapfino requires a license but a license is included when you purchase apple software as the font comes pre-loaded on the operating system. So no worries :)

You can't resell the font, but you can use it in your comic that is for sale
