From watching musicals, broadways, or entertainment on a cruise ship, as the audience, we only see the end results and not realizing the hard work it takes to get the end results. Don't know how I stumbled upon your channel as I'm an Norwegian, and the sport we have here is snow related and I cross country skiied/biathlon in my youth and played football (soccer for you Americans), and handball as team sport in my youth.
This looks almost harder than my youth sports.
Who knew dancing was this hard... 😊

As you were vlogging this I was thinking about the mental aspect of being a dancer and how I could never ever remember all of the routines lol I took dance growing up and a few classes in college and it was so difficult to remember any of it. Haha
It takes a lot of work outside the studio to go over choreography and also writing it out in my journal helps a lot!

Question! Do the dance instructors travel on the ship with you or do they stay behind to train the next lot?
They come to install the show on the ship for 10 days 😁

How complex would you say the dance numbers are for most cruise ship shows? It’s all very impressive!
It’s very advanced! We are all professionally trained dancers & it’s a lot of work to have the skills but also the stamina to perform almost hour long shows several times a week!!
Kristine I have a question.. I hope I didn’t ask this before.. so when you’re like part of “cast 2 Odyssey” or like for example “cast 4 Ovation”, that title is numbered from the very start of the ship’s career? Is my assumption correct? Like I mean where you were “cast #2”/Odyssey you will always be immortalized as cast #2 of how ever many tour casts the ship has in its career? .. I know I’m over complicating this question but basically like a grade class in a school or college if that makes any sense?😂😂
Yes that’s exactly right :) I was Cast 3 of Odyssey and Cast 13 of Ovation!

Hi Kristine, does the company pay for the overseas based people (Australia for instance?) to fly to the US for rehearsals or is getting to the US something they have to fund themselves?
Yes :) They pay for any travel that has to do with the job!

Hahaha I definitely don’t 😂 They’re like my best friends, I got so lucky with amazing roommates!! We’re not sure who’s rooming together yet but I will be updating the channel when I find out!
