Watching your shows, I guess I've been on the wrong cruise lines. After 24 cruises on five different lines, I've never
seen shows as extravagant as yours. It truly looks like Vegas. All the performers are amazing and they all seem to
love their jobs. I'll be giving RCI a closer look now. (Perhaps during your next contract.) Bet your mom loved the show.

Thanks for sharing. This is great seeing what happens behind the scenes. As a cruiser, I really appreciate all the hard work you and your fellow crewmates do every night. This vlog is also great for someone who wants to do this on a cruise ship to see you really have to love and enjoy the job.

I saw Showgirls on Navigator of the Seas. I liked it a lot.
When I was on ships I never really got a chance to speak to the dancers. Huge amount of professional rehearsal activity associated with professional dance. Very impressed!

WOW !!! Thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories of our cruise in June 2023 and indeed this channel. I really loved both your shows but even more now that I know the cast. You truly have an amazing gift not just as a dancer performer,you have amazing presenting skills. 2 questions Do you have to provide your own make up and how often do your costumes get washed ? PS your Mom & Dad must be super proud. Also who s minding the dog . Thanks again for videos Shay.
Thank you!! We do our own makeup and we have a rotation so our costumes are washed after every show night. Yes they are my biggest supporters :)

Two questions:
1) where were you in the very first part of the video? Did you get a cabin upgrade!?!
2) if your contract is coming to an end … what’s next? Another ship contract? On to bigger and better things?

I'm that blind person that commented on your cabin tour. I just wanted to say I was listening around 5:00 and just trying to imagine in my head the movement of your feet since I heard you tapping really fast. It is definitely a talent you and others have!

Wow, impressive. It is impressive the running behind the shows to get all the costumes. Never imagined the preset to be all over the place... Looks like the ship architects need to have a look at this to come up with better solutions... Wow, thanks for sharing 🙏

Newby to your channel. This was fascinating. & fun to see.
1.How often do you have to perform in a week or per passenger cruise?
2. Do they make you keep a certain weight or tell you to loose weight as a dancer?
Sorry if you've already answered these questions in a past video. 😊
Currently we are on a rotation of a 7 day itinerary so we perform our 2 shows on 2 nights of the week, so it is very chill!! Other ships that are on 3-4 day cruises perform 4 nights of the week, etc!

What are you spraying on the costumes that you’re hanging up?
It’s a mixed spray with vodka and water to make sure our costumes don’t smell!

You talk about blocking and reblocking. What exactly does that mean?
If someone is out of the show (sickness or injury) we have to change the spacing of some numbers and sometimes have different people go in and out of certain numbers! It’s like a whole equation to make the show still look cohesive if we have someone out :)

That countdown board made me wonder.why do they rotate show crews every few months? Perhaps people do like to be on land for a while?😊
Since you now know the shows, would you have to audition again after this contract? You could do the same shows again and not have to rehearse again. Or would you prefer something else first, just for change?
RCA has plenty of ships, surely enough to keep you busy 😅
Our contracts are 11 months long, so yes we do have to finish and switch casts eventually! Everyone chooses different paths in the industry after contracts :)
I can't wait to be a showgirl on my next contract! Question...you guys don't have to wear show shoes during tech?? we always had to!

That's a lot of work. What happens if some new performer forget some moves ? I always wonder how performers remember everything.
We trained for 2 months at the rehearsal studios and then 1 month on the stage to make sure shows are perfect when we open the shows for an audience! … but bloopers happen every show, we’re human!!
Are all male dancers like the male flight attendants ?
