It's amazing seeing how hard you all work to entertain your guests!
I can say as a hobbyist dancer and audience member..the audience is usually looking at a single part of the stage at any given time, so snapping on the wrong side or turning the wrong way won’t be noticed! As dancers and perfectionists, we forget to see ourselves as the audience does. I also have to remember when I’m watching my dance troupe, to relax my eyes ans take in the whole effect of the dance, and when I do that, those little bobbles usually also melt away because of everything else going on. Give yourself grace! You did you part by willingness to show up and put 100% in! Hoping LJ feels better, and smooth sailing with no other difficulties!
Also, we don’t know what it’s supposed to look like! I’ve probably seen so many errors and had no idea and just thought that’s what they were supposed to do!

Having been involved with the tech side of live performance for most of my life i can say you just have to take it as it comes...brush off the bad stuff and put it out of your mind. Tomorrow is a new day, new challenges and exciting opportunities! You handled it well!

Another excursion you should try if you can is the salmon bake/gold panning. I remember in August last year you could actually reach down and pet the salmon because there’s so many that are spawning and then you can actually pan for gold and find some small little pieces.

I was on this cruise when this happened! I hope you guys are all ok! And I wanted to watch on day 7 but the bridge still wasn't ready to be used.... kinda upsed! oh well, guess i have go back on ovation! I did see both spectra and beautiful dream tho! both were excellent! loved the performances!

You must be able to dance the entire show by yourself by now after all those re blocks! Do you get much more reblocks compared to previous contract or does it just look that way? Interesting challenges no doubt, but VERY stressful at the time! I’m gonna guess you slept a lot that night.
Did you have fun doing those tracks in show1, as you promised yourself? Are there tracks you did as re block once you’d like to do more times?

You know you sometimes do the „rec screen“ on some of your clips- how do you do that? I edit with Final Cut
I found the green screen overlay on youtube & overlay it with a mask on fcpx, you can look up the tutorial on youtube that’s what I did!

Haven’t you danced the lead position in “Sexy Back Dance” from a previous video? Isn’t it to your advantage to have the chance of learning every position in all of the dance routines of your teams. This will give you the knowledge & opportunity of possible advancement into a Captain position in the future of your career with RCCL. Your opportunities for advancement as a Professional Dancer are coming your way because you are a dedicated team member of your cast, Someone that your Captain knows you’ll always excel in learning every position in each dance routine. You should be Extremely Proud of your Yourself Kristine! All of your followers are Proud of your Career as a Professional Dancer.

okay but wait like what was the technical difficulty LOL did like the lights or sound stop working? 🫣🫣 also i can't believe they had to cancel the shows! i only had one thing like that ever happen to me but it was during a dress rehearsal. there was a bad thunderstorm outside so it might have been related to that but something went wrong with the electricity onstage and there was like a huge spark and the power in the whole building went out and they had to cancel the whole rest of dress rehearsal lol thankfully they were able to fix everything for the show which was the next day but that was crazy, i can't imagine how stressful that must have been with your second show and the rest of the first one getting canceled!!! being an understudy looks so fun though omggg
