I can’t believe WiFi isn’t covered for employees! Shame on the cruise lines, they should make it easier to communicate back home.
Most cruise lines including mine have free wifi for Whatsapp, its good enough to message or video call. They can't provide internet to those who can abuse it by downloading GBs of data everyday (My company provided free internet to all crew for one week back in 2022 and everyone abused the wifi). Besides the ship wifi isn't the best, crew get local sim cards and it can be used most of the time during sea days if you go out on deck.
Shame on the cruise lines? Lmao You must be a kid or teenager. Most adults realize how bandwidth works.
I agree, you'd think this would be a basic necessity. How do you pay your bills or handle your taxes without wifi?
@@lala-ct9ir They’re in port or in a port every couple of days. They also get 120 free minutes every month. Do you need it spelled out for you?
How long of periods did you think they spend at sea? Weeks at a time? Months? It’s a cruise ship.

I think it’s great that you treat yourself and don’t restrict too much what you buy, especially in ports. The biggest thing I would want to do is try local cafes and restaurants and get souvenirs in the places I’m visiting. Enjoy your life right? 😁👍🏼

All things considered, you do a very good job budgeting your money each day. I would have such trouble with the WiFi, since I use it so much every single day, so I would be buying it right and left, no doubt there! 😂 And you must buy a magnet when traveling of the places you visit...I do that too! As always, praying for smooth seas. 🚢 ❤

I’ve recently discovered your channel and been loving it! I would love a little more explanation of some of the lingo you use thats totally foreign to me as a non-dancer and non-cruise-goer. Like tech run, reblock, fitness photos, ship drills…theres been more but thats all i can think of now. Anyway, love the content!😊

Yes!!! Class is awesome in other disciplines. So happy you have that opportunity on the ship. I grew up in classical ballet but LOVED taking other classes in hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap!! I’m now in my 40’s and I still take classes :)

🍀Happy St Patricks Day 🍀 Kristine....... Today is the day we celebrate a national holiday in IRELAND. Once again you never cease to amaze me with your VLOG. I 'm convinced you will have a career in Broadcasting when you hang up your dancing shoes. You know I love your VLOG s but this one was so interesting both for cruiseaholics like me but especially for anybody thinking of following your footsteps in your amazing career. I always thought that entertainers could use the Bars and WindJammer as I believe that it's a good PR exercise for the cruise line as you guys are great ambassadors for Royal Caribbean . I love how you collect magnets from wherever you visit, I collect postcards! Are you able to eat in the free guest dining areas a lot to have a change in food? Such as the buffet or regular dining?

We can only eat at the buffet from 8-8:30 for $3 :)

Yay thank you!! We usually get off at port to get them done but some people definitely do it themselves :)
I imagine you get paid in USD but your expenses (having Sydney as your home port) are in AUD/NZD this time around? The exchange rate must help a bit?

Can you not work the wifi desk for free wifi minutes?
If you sign up to work, you have to work Sydney days and I love to get off the ship and explore. To each their own but traveling is the reason I’m here so that’s my priority! Maybe sometime I will be able to!
Wow, rocky seas! Do you tend to feel sick or are you used to it?
Sometimes I just feel a bit dizzy or get a headache but we’ve still got to perform and carry on our normal duties even when it’s super rocky!
Do you have any side hustle to make extra money on board?

Im so curious as to what happens if you truthfully get super sick, do you have a backup? Or something bad with immediate family (death, graduation, serious illness) Not to be a debbie downer. Just honestly curious.
Yes we have understudies and there is compassionate leave if someone needs to go home. There’s always a backup plan :)
To be fair, that wifi package will last several weeks so shouldn’t be counted as whole? I do wonder if you’ll spend less 2nd time going to same port? You probably won’t buy magnets everytime 🎉 spending on wifi is fine btw, us people on land do that as well 😅
wifi packages usually only last 24 hours :( I usually do spend as much time as I can every time!

Is there bigger wifi packages that last longer ?
Yes there are but for me it’s a smarter investment to buy the smaller packages, they equal out to be about the same price
They should give you Free 24/7 WIFI, while you serve!!! Also guessing, how much you spend a day is fairly relative to how much you earn a day. Show food?? Is that some kind of expected traditional treat?? NICE perk!!

My wife who cruises, with family and friends, much more than I do, , says ship entertainment staff has much more time for shore leave than other ship staff. True? What are the different employee classifications? Galley. House keeping. Engineering. Entertainment. What else? Correct me.
