Blount County Sheriff Office looked really bad in that incident. Wonder if they can keep the people safe if they can’t even keep their own officers safe

After watching the video of the fire fight, I question the distance the injured Deputies had to walk(hobble) to get out of the line of fire. Then they had to go over a fence and hobble a great distance. Who treats their Deputies like that? Both had leg injuries, in pain, and could barely walk. Shame on Blount County LEOs!

I’ll tell you what’s happening. Criminals are waking up and realizing that these cops in the local area think they are invincible and are really not prepared for battle. You officers need to step it up and be more prepared for combat. For one no backup showed up for way too long. And for two you still outgunned him two to one and one of you had a rifle, which is already a sign you are not prepared why did the other guy not have a rifle? And the guy who had a rifle with a partner with a handgun got pinned down by one random dummy with a rifle? You’re supposed to be a better gunfighter than some random guy unless that guy was an experienced combat veteran this is just terrible
